Matt Rife is one of the most successful touring comedians of this decade, so it makes sense that LiveNation thinks he would be a good spokesman for them.
Therefore, I can understand why they would ask him to help promote Billy Idol’s upcoming tour with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in a hilarious video.
The funny man used the singer’s lyrics against him. And as funny as it was, it was also sad for two reasons. One, Rife wasn’t even born when any of the hits came out. Two, the mustache.
Back to the Rocker. The It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again tour hits the road on April 30th in Phoenix and goes all the way through until September 25th.
I cannot believe I have never seen him live. And I will be missing this tour because he isn’t coming to Los Angeles. So I guess I will be dancing with myself.
Last year, Netflix aired its first comedy special with Matt Rife, and it was a critical bust. That is because he is known for his crowd work, and Natural Selection was his standup.
So, on August 13th, the comedian will get his redemption with an hour of just working the crowd. Matt Rife: Lucid was filmed at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte earlier this year.
I can’t wait to watch his TikTok for an hour because he is one of the best hecklers that has ever been.
Matt Rife has been performing stand-up nonstop for years and has spent the last few months embarking on a comedy tour around the world.
All of that has caught up with the comedian. Yesterday, he had a medical emergency and canceled his shows in Indiana at the last minute. However, he didn’t say what was ailing him.
Today, TMZ is reporting that he is suffering from “extreme exhaustion,” and he will be taking two weeks off to get some much-needed rest.
Hopefully, he will get rest and come back in mid-June refreshed!
Matt Rife has been touring the World with his Problematic World Tour for over a year, and he hasn’t missed a date.
That was until today because he was forced to cancel tonight’s performance in Bloomington, Indiana.
“I’m so fucking sorry, but due to a last minute medical emergency i have to reschedule our shows tonight (again), he wrote. “I’ve been doing 40+ shows a month for a year and half and never had to do something like this, I’m so so sorry, i hope you understand and i love you so much”
The comedian is scheduled to bring his stand-up to Chicago tomorrow. As of now, he has not said whether the show will go on or not.
Hopefully, he will feel better by tomorrow evening.
That ’90s Show is the rare sequel series that is as good as the original. Therefore, I have been waiting to watch more episodes. This weekend, Netflix announced that Formans will be back on June 27th and then on October 24th.
“It’s 1996 and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”
Don Stark and Laura Prepon are the OGs to guest star this season. But they are not the only guest appearances we can expect to see. They will be joined by Tommy Chong, Andrea Anders, Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Kevin Smith, Jason Meyes, Wayne Knight, Kadeem Hardison, and Matt Rife.
