Mark Wahlberg and David O Russell were photographed in some serious lip action and I wondered if the two men had something to tell us? Nope it was just Marky Mark congratulating his Fighter Director on winning the Director of the Year Award at the 22nd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. And by the looks of it Amy Adams is a little jealous that her co-star gave their director a big smooch?
Hopefully this is the first of many awards for the three for The Fighter.
Mark Wahlberg says “Not, you” in The Fighter almost as much Shia LaBeouf says “No!” in all of his movies, so Funny or Die had some fun with. Make sure to watch it all the way through because the last one is the funniest. And also say, “Hello, to your mother for me!”
Let’s be real the last time that M Night Shyamalan made a watchable movie it was called The Sixth Sense. So this weekend when Mark Wahlberg was talking about his movie The Fighter that is getting Oscar buzz, he wound up talking about a movie that was getting Razzie buzz…The Happening, and let’s just say he agreed with everyone who saw the movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter when Marky Mark met Amy Adams they talked about the 2008 bomb, “We had actually had the luxury of having lunch before to talk about another movie and it was a bad movie that I did. She dodged the bullet. And then I was still able to … I don’t want to tell you what movie … alright The Happening. Fuck it.” He added, “It is what it is. Fucking trees, man. The plants. Fuck it. You can’t blame me for not wanting to try to play a science teacher. At least I wasn’t playing a cop or a crook.” I actually saw the movie and he was believable as a science teacher, granted we didn’t see him teaching but I believed he teaching science.
BTW my advice to other actors is if you see that M Night wrote and directed the movie you are auditioning for, run like Forest Gump because the chances of it being good is as good as you seeing dead people.

Mark Wahlberg took his family to the pumpkin patch and picked up two of them for his four kids. Looking at the way he is holding them it is almost like he is saying, “How do you like them pumpkins?” You know instead of melons…wink wink!
OK I might have eaten too much candy yesterday because even I will admit that is kind of lame.

Back in August Mark Wahlberg was on George Lopez and he told the talk show host that his daughter Ella Rae has Bieber Fever so he called Justin Bierber for her but he never returned his call. Well yesterday Marky Mark became the best dad in the world to his little girl because he did something better than get her a call from the Baby singer, he was able to get her to meet him at the Variety’s 4th Annual Power Of Youth Event. Looking at her face, Marky Mark will get her to do whatever he wants until she hits puberty or until she has her next crush.
BTW I am glad that Justin Bieber made time to meet Ella Rae because I would have feared for him if he didn’t because Wahlberg threatened to mess up his hair if he didn’t get back to him…
