A few weeks ago, someone noticed that items from The Resident were being auctioned off. So it seemed like the Fox medical drama was cancelled. However, the network said that they had not made a decision on the show’s future.
Today, they did. And according to Variety, it will not be back for season 7. The news is not surprising, but it still hurts.
Hopefully, Matt Czuchry, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Jane Leeves, Jessica Lucas, and Anuja Joshi will all find new shows soon because I am going to miss watching them every week.
