Evangeline Lilly’s house burns down |

The Kailua home that "Lost" actress Evangeline Lilly rents with two other women was engulfed in flames this morning and appears to be total loss. Five fire trucks responded to the call around 6:45 a.m. Neighbors said the fire started at least by 6:30 and quickly spread. There was nobody home at the time. "Lost" was filming at a Waialua Beach this morning and one of Lilly’s roommates who works on the set returned home after the fire was out. She declined comment. The early-morning fire at 684 Iana St. in Kailua brought quick response from neighbors, many who said they heard "popping" noises as the fire raged. "I woke up to my dogs barking," said Morgan Janus, a neighbor who lives across the street. "There were loud popping sounds, like something electrical." Janus said by the time she got outside, firefighters had already been called and were on the scene within 20 minutes. By 7 a.m. the fire was doused and soon after firefighters were able to enter the home. Part of the problem slowing the firefighters were the bars on the house’s windows. Firefighters had to cut through the bars in order to get inside to check if anyone was home. Nobody was, said fire department captain Kenison Tejada. The cast of "Lost" was scheduled to break for Christmas tomorrow.

So sad and what a time for it to happen.

What is Matthew Fox’s fate on LOST? |

From Elka: Any definite word yet on whether Matthew Fox is getting killed off of Lost? I hope you’re sitting down for this, because I have a direct quote from Matthew Fox himself, who (during press for We Are Marshall) told our very own E! cameras: "I’m not on Lost anymore. I’m done with that. I’m not going back. And it has nothing to do with my movie career. They killed me off." Beep, beep, BEEP, BEEP!!! Do you hear that? It’s the sound of our B.S. meter going off the charts! To put it plainly, if Matthew Fox says he’s getting killed off, assuredly he is not actually getting killed. Unless…crap…Could he be doing a double-flip mind trip on us? Argh. This show is gonna be the end of me!
From Amy: Got anything on Lost? Matthew also said, "The most exciting 16 episodes of television are coming up in the spring. And there are going to be so many things that happen. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you any of it." I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Argh.

What does that mean? I can’t say I will miss him if they do kill him off, but then again I might?

Will LOST stand tall at 10p? |

ABC is moving "Lost" out of the way of the "American Idol" juggernaut. Alphabet’s January sked, set to be unveiled later today, has "Lost" moving to Wednesdays at 10 when it returns Feb. 7, insiders said. Shift ensures the third-year skein won’t have to battle the Fox behemoth. A year ago, "Lost" took a notable ratings hit once "Idol" returned. Skein has held steady in the ratings this fall vs. last spring, but ABC execs clearly don’t want to take the chance of further slippage. Net’s affils should be happy with the shift. With "Lost" at 10 p.m., ABC will be delivering local stations their best numbers for the slot in years. ABC isn’t completely backing away from "Idol," however. Net has decided to slot its buzzworthy laffer "Knights of Prosperity" Wednesdays at 9 p.m., directly against the "Idol" results show. It’ll be paired at 9:30 with another new comedy, "In Case of Emergency." New laffer block is set to debut Jan. 3, a month before "Daybreak" was set to end its run. Skein may shift to 10 p.m. Wednesday before "Lost" premieres, though it’s more likely it’ll simply be yanked at the end of December or moved to another night. ABC will round out its Wednesday lineup with new episodes of "George Lopez" and "According to Jim" from 8-9 p.m. Net will double-pump "Jim" for a few weeks, with "George" bowing Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. On Tuesdays, "Show Me the Money’ will shift to 8 p.m. on Jan. 2. It’ll be paired with "Big Day" and "Help Me Help You." Latter laffer may eventually be replaced by newcomer "Notes from the Underbelly," though no decision has been made. ABC’s Sunday, Monday and Thursday skeds will remain unchanged for now. At some point, net will have to make room for the return of "Dancing with the Stars." On Fridays, ABC will continue to vamp with repeats. Saturday will be a mix of movies and specials. Still on the bench: six episodes of "The Nine" and "Six Degrees."
I am not sure how I feel about the move. Either way their numbers will be down when they come back, but will they lose viewers more against Idol or because of the later time slot. It will be interesting to see how it does with it’s new time slot.
When it comes to the new shows, not one of them grabs me…what about you?

Mr Eko’s death was not the only LOST tragedy last night |

At 9 p.m., CBS’ Criminal Minds remains the success story of the season, with a first-place finish in the overnights (11.6/17) and total viewers (16.74 million), and a competitive second-place 4.9/12 among adults 18-49. Although Lost won the hour in the demo with a 6.6/16, I don’t think anyone (CBS included) expected Criminal Minds to have any kind of an advantage this season. Lost was second in the overnights (11.1/16) and total viewers (16.12 million). Although I will still say that even a disappointing episode of Lost is better than most dramas, maybe the show would benefit if it spent an entire episode without a flashback, giving it more time to explain what the heck is going on. Truthfully, I am lost. Aren’t you?

ABC must be nervous especially with the show going on hiatus from the start of November sweeps to the start of February sweeps? Seriously as I watched Jericho last night (absolutely amazing episode) I thought to myself this show could take LOST’s audience during the hiatus.

Jericho celebrates Halloween on All Saints’ Day! |

While the town prepares to celebrate Halloween, Gray Anderson (Michael Gaston) returns after traveling outside of town and reports back on the horrific things he saw while he was away on JERICHO, Wednesday, Nov. 1 ( 8:00-9:00 PM , ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Upon his return, Gray is able to provide more information about which cities were hit by bombs and which cities have not been affected. James Remar ("Sex and the City") guest stars as Jonah Prowse, the head of a gang with whom Jake used to hang out.
This is my new Wednesday favorite show! In fact I have to watch this before I watch LOST!!! And don’t forget someone dies tonight on LOST! Wonder if the last of the major tailies bites the dust like his DUI cast members? (Yes I know he was cleared, but still…)
