May 24th, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel, Lost. [ Comments: none ]

So a half hour after you wiped the tears from your eyes and absorbed WTF just happened on Lost, Jimmy Kimmel Live aired a special tribute to the show. Instead of giving us more tears of sorrow, the show gave us tears of laughter. So take a break from mourning Lost and laugh you a$$ off watching these funny bits from JKL, I promise it will ease your pain. And you don’t want to miss the alternate endings.

I guess Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse weren’t lying here.
May 23rd, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel, Lost. [ Comments: 2 ]

(starts at 1:50 in)

Back in March the Lost EPs Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were on Jimmy Kimmel Live and they did one of his joke bits called Secrets of Lost. In it the two said something that I was hoping was untrue, but after watching tonight’s finale we found out it was true.

Damon: People ask by the end of the last season, will we finally understand what’s really going on?
Carlton: Nope.

I seriously feel jipped by that ending. Especially since they said the whole time that wasn’t the case. That is all I can say about it, unless someone can explain it to me.
BTW now I know why Darlton pre-taped their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost…because after that ending they had to go into hiding. Hell hath no fury like a Lost fan scorned. BTW was that hell under the plug? Oy.

UPDATE: James Gunn summed it up perfectly in this Tweet, “LOST was sort of like a weak orgasm at the end of a great f*ck.” Amen, brother.

The Dharma Initiative prepares us for what to do after Lost
May 22nd, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel, Lost. [ Comments: 1 ]

Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he aired the unearthed training video from the Dharma Initiative preparing us how to live our lives after Lost ends. After watching that video, I realized there is a lot I haven’t done since Lost premiered on September 22, 2004. I am really looking forward to doing that last thing they talked about. Joking. But I seriously don’t know how I am going to live without Lost on the air. I don’t know what I am going to do without my weekly headaches trying to figure out WTF is going on on the show. What are you planning to do after Lost ends, I need suggestions!
BTW Jimmy Kimmel Live also did a Lost edition of Unnecessary Censorship and I haven’t laughed that hard since I Sawyer’s reaction to Jack becoming the candidate on Tuesday’s episode. And on that note Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse talked about tomorrow’s finale and find out who will definitely survive until the credits! Kimmel also read what JJ Abrams wrote to pitch the show, it will make you laugh because they so didn’t keep their promise.
So make sure to watch the pilot of Lost tonight on ABC at 8p and then tomorrow you can watch the recap at 7p, The End at 9p and Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost at 12:00p.

Jacob revealed the secret of Lost to a teenage Jimmy Kimmel!
May 21st, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel, Lost. [ Comments: none ]

So you know how on this season of Lost we found out that Jacob had met with the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815 before they crashed on to the Island? Well Jimmy Kimmel revealed that Jacob also visited the nerdy pimply face teen with braces in high school as he played with his own instrument by himself. Jacob told him, “You are destined to spend 120 hours of your life watching a television show that will confuse you. That will frustrate you. And the more it does, the more you are going to fall in love with it.” If any sentiment can sum up Lost, it is that one!
So make sure to watch the final two and a half hours this Sunday at 9p on ABC to see how it will all end. And a half hour after it all ends watch Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost when Kimmel will be joined in studio by Naveen Andrews, Nestor Carbonell, Alan Dale, Jeremy Davies, Emilie de Ravin, Michael Emerson, Matthew Fox, Daniel Dae Kim, Terry O’Quinn and Harold Perrineau, and there will be special appearances by Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway and Evangeline Lilly. Plus they will also be showing three alternate endings to the show that has confused us, frustrated us and got us to fall in love with.

This week’s Lost makes up for last week’s!
May 18th, 2010 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

Last week my friend Rick invited me to join him at the Lost Live: The Final Celebration and we got to see tonight’s episode at it. Almost everyone I know hated last week’s Lost episode where we learned about Jacob and the Man in Black’s history on the Island, and let me tell you will get over your anger about it by the first commercial break because tonight’s episode on ABC at 9p is that good. I will not spoil it for you, but what I will tell you is Ben is back, we will get a huge questioned answered and you will be laughing a lot. That is all I will say because the second to last episode is that f*cking good. I can’t believe it is just 5 more days until the series finale. I will be watching an east coast feed of it at my friend Rick’s because I didn’t get tickets to see it at Jimmy Kimmel Live. Where will you be watching the final two and half hours on Sunday when Lost says goodbye on ABC at 9p. And make sure to stock up on aspirin because you are going to need it.
BTW it was really awesome to see Michael Giacchino conduct the orchestra as they played his music from Lost live. It was also really cool to watch several Lost actors read the messages from the bottle. Plus it was nice that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse told us some secrets about the show like Hurley was not an originally in the show, but JJ Abrams really wanted him on the show after he saw him on Curb Your Enthusiasm so he had him read Sawyer’s part and created Hurley for him. Considering how long Jorge Garcia has been on the show, I think he did pretty good for someone who wasn’t suppose to be there in the first place. Oh and could you imagine him as Sawyer? I sure as heck can’t.
