|  The Brit Awards always promises to have a few surprises up its sleeve. And this could be the first Brit shocker for this year’s ceremony… Lily Allen is seriously considering not going to the bash – despite notching up the most nods. Lil is convinced she’s likely to pull a Craig David and walk away with nothing on the big night. And so to save herself any red-faced embarrassment, she is thinking of giving the whole thing a miss. Lily and her record company have taken a hint from the fact that she’s been bumped off the bill at this year’s ceremony in favour of Amy Winehouse. A source told The Sun: "Lily is seriously considering staying away from the Brits. "She has a lot of commitments abroad so would have to make a special effort to fly in just for the day to go to the event. "She was thrilled to be nominated in so many categories but many experts think she could loose out on all four. "As soon as she was replaced by Amy Winehouse on the roster of performers, people started saying, ‘There’s no way she will win best female now – it will go to Amy.’ "The best album category is so tough this year and she’s got little chance of beating the Arctic Monkeys."

She is going to feel stupid if she actually wins one and she is not there and she has done all this pre-show whining. She also has been complaining that the other bands are using the net in order to win an award. She probally is jealous she did not come up with the idea first.
BTW is just me or don’t you think that Kanye West and her would make the perfect couple?

busy busy busy , as usual . This week I have been from Chicago to NY to Philly, I did shows in all cities , then I did a TV show called Conan O'brien in Manhattan . I flew from NY to london on Tuesday night and arrived in London for the Brits on wednesday morning . I went to the brits and lost all three I was nominated for , I knew that was going to be the case , all my categories were very tough . Then I went out for a few drinks , assulted some paparazzi with my stiletto and went to bed . On thursday i woke up @ 8 in the am and left my hotel in tears , i didnt want to leave . I wanted to go home , I wanted my Mum to cook me a roast , i wanted to walk my dog , I wanted more than 5 hours with my boyfriend . I got in my car and and was followed to the airport by the razzi , actually they followed me all the way to the gate , Heathrow has it's own press dept I saw the guy that was featured on the BBC program " Airport " their PR guy . He and a couple of photographers followed me to the gate and I got on a plane to Washington . Washington was freezing . I go to my hotel and then I got an email from my record company , all the post brits pics of me crying ( outside my hotel ) , supposedly I got in a fight with Amy Winehouse and was left crying . UTTER BOLLOCKS . Anyway this annoyed me momentarily but I needed to sleep, as this morning I had to get up at 6 to get on a plane to Boston , so I moved on .
Got to boston at about 2 this afternoon and went to watch Pans Labyrinth with Emily , Del and John . It is an amazing film and i advise you all to go see it . Now I am in bed watching a documentary on Anna Nicole Smith , may her soul rest in peace . I reckon Howard K Stern did it . I hope he gets found out . He looks creepy . Night everyone , I am tired , I want to go home I have to go to Toronto tomorrow but . Only two more sleeps , and one more gig . till im back in London , albeit brief . I miss everyone . night night .

I actually feel bad for her. Sounds like all she really wants is a good night's sleep. And then I am sure she will back to good old grumpy self!

|  Lily Allen will go to the BRITs because her dad told her to. The ‘Smile’ singer had threatened to boycott the prestigious event because she feared she would leave empty-handed, despite being nominated for four awards. However, Lily’s father, comedian Keith Allen, told her she must attend because she may never have the chance again. According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Keith told her: "It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing to be nominated for four BRITs – you must go and have a good time." Lily has taken heed of her father’s advice and decided to go. She said: "I really was going to stay away from the BRITs because as soon as the nominations came out, I was convinced I wouldn’t win anything.

Murphy’s Law…now that she is going to the show she won’t win anything. If she didn’t go, she would’ve won at least one award. I hope she goes and loses because she know she is going to have a sore loser reaction!
