Even though Kristen Bell and Ted Danson are happily married to two other people, the costars were photographed lying down together with big smiles on their face, so do they have something to tell us? Yes, their show The Good Place is so hilarious that you need to be watching them in it.
Watch this scene from last night’s episode and don’t tell me this scene it isn’t hysterical? It is unethical how funny this sitcom is!
Remember when season 1 of The Good Place ended and Elanor (Kristen Bell) revealed to her friends that they were in the bad place and not the good one; and your mouth hit the floor. Turns out we were not alone, so was the rest of the cast that is named Ted Danson or Bell. The show’s creator Michael Schur, kept that shocking ending from everyone, but his leads, as long as he could. Then when it was time for them to know, he recorded Jameela Jamil (Tahini), D’Arcy Carden (Janet), Manny Jacinto (Jason), William Jackson Harper’s (Chidi) reaction to the season 1 cliffhanger. Then he gave that video to Bell and she recently shared it with Entertainment Weekly to promotes yesterday’s season premiere.
What was in this unearthed video? The four of them reacting like all those vids on YouTube when an adult child tells their parents that they are not only pregnant, but they are pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. In others words, they reacted with even more shock and awed than we did. Proving they are just as invested in The Good Place as we are. If you did watch the season premiere 2 yesterday, tell me what you thought of it. Wasn’t it good? Can I tell you gets better next week and even better the week after that.
Therefore if you missed yesterday’s season premiere, then you can watch it on NBC’s app or OnDemand and then you can watch the rest of the season Thursdays at 8:30p.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5QLY94kRJQ The Good Place is back with an hour-long episode on NBC tonight at 10p and it picks up with our favorite humans just having been rebooted in the bad place thinking they are really in the good place.
Elanor (Kristen Bell) once again is told by Michael (Ted Danson) that she is dead and is given a tour of the town and gets to meet her hot soul mate. She is not the only one with new soul mate, so are Chidi Anagonye (William Jackson Harper), Tahani Al-Jamil (Jameela Jamil) and Jianyu Li (Manny Jacinto); and their new companions are keeping the four of them apart. What happens when Janet (D’Arcy Carden) gives Elanor the note the recently departed left in her mouth to find Chidi? First she has to figure out what the fork a Chidi is in order to find him.
While the four of them are reliving their first day in the good place, Michael’s demons are learning what their roles are in it. Some are happier than others and most of them just want to torture the humans. Will they get their wish? Will the four figure out once again that they are in bad place? Since I want to go to the good place, I cannot tell you.
What I can tell you is that I think that Ted Danson was born to play this part. He is so good at being a demon, you will actually think he was sent from below. That and after watching the first 3 episodes for season 2, I am happy to report that it is not suffering the sophomore slump. In fact, it is a whole lot stronger. Especially since there is a lot more Janet this season and Carden steals the show with every scene she is in. You can honestly tell this cast is having a blast working on this darling sitcom.
The Good Place might take place in Hell, but it is Heaven sent. Therefore watch it tonight at 10p and then starting next week every Thursday at 8:30p.
In honor of America’s birthday, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are wearing their stars and stripes jammies! Together they are making America cute again! Because what is more American and cuter than that?
If you have not seen Bad Moms, then you should totally check it out. It is a surprisingly fun movie that was better than the trailer made it seem. And the trailer made it seem like a hoot.
That is why I am hoping that the sequel Bad Mom’s Christmas is just as good. After watching the Red Band trailer, it looks like it will be just as bad. Bad as in Mae West good. I mean, what other movie this holiday season will have 3 MILFs giving Old Saint Nick’s candy cane a lap dance? What more do you need to go see that film on November 3rd? I cannot think of anything, can you?
