Kevin Smith did something that is leaving us all as vocal as Silent Bob, the writer/direct/actor shaved off the beard that is as synonymous with him as his Hockey Jerseys and Capri pants, I mean long shorts. So what made him finally make the big change? He said he did it for his upcoming movie Yoga Hosers.
Now that we know why he did it, what do you think of his clean shaven face? I can’t get over how different he looks. He could walk up to me, and I would have no clue who he is. It’s not that he looks bad, it’s just that he is unrecognizable and looks a lot younger.
Kevin Smith might be Silent Bob, but he is also speaking up about what made him cry. So what brought tears to his eyes? He said, “Visited JJ and his EP VII set. I signed the NDA so all I can share are this old Bantha-Tracks subscriber’s tears and snotty nose of joy. The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith…” I think we can add this to things that men are allowed to cry over. You know, like they do over Old Yeller, Brian’s Song and Rudy. And if they are trying to get laid, add The Notebook to the list. What else am I missing?
Kevin Smith was on The Arsenio Hall Show yesterday and he revealed that he is a huge Run DMC fan. So the late night host convinced him to rap one of their songs and Silent Bob belted out Pied Piper. Who knew besides writing, directing, hosting and acting that he is also good as rapping. What can’t he do?

The animated movie is going on tour starting on 4/20 (perfect date for them) and you can see the real life Jay & Silent Bob along with the film. I already bought my tickets and I am wondering what you are waiting for because this movie looks like it will be a sh!tload of fun!
