Kevin Costner is on TikTok

For some reason, I think that Kevin Costner is uptight and doesn’t know how to have fun. It could be his pompous moves like JFK, Dances with Wolves, and Robin Hood.

However, today, I got a surprise on my TikTok For You Page. I saw a cute video of a dog asking his mean owner to feed them, and the owner finally giving in to Bob’s starvation. Then, I saw that the owner is Kevin Costner.

That’s right, the Oscar winner is on TikTok. And now he has a new follower who is excited for his content.

I never thought I would say that.

Yellowstone is ending with season 5, but…
May 5th, 2023 under Kevin Costner, Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

For months there have been rumors that Kevin Costner wanted out of Yellowstone so that he could be a “movie star” again. Well, today, he got his wish because Paramount Network announced that they are ending the show with the one-note actor.

But the news isn’t all bad. Deadline says Paramount Network greenlit a sequel and Matthew McConaughey along with some of the Yellowstone cast members are expected to star in it.

“The Dutton story continues, picking up where Yellowstone leaves off in another epic tale. We are thrilled to bring this new journey to audiences around the world,” added David Glasser, CEO, 101 Studios.

The final episodes of Yellowstone will air starting in November. And just like Costner’s wife, we will be done with him. Too soon?

If you build it, they will come…and they did
August 13th, 2021 under Kevin Costner, Sports figures. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1989, someone said, “If you build it, they will come.” Well, 32 years later, the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox came to play a game in Iowa at the Field of Dreams.

To make this game even more epic, Major League Baseball invited Kevin Costner to come out of the cornfield onto the baseball one. Following behind him were the two teams in old school uniforms.

It doesn’t matter who won because we all did. This is what baseball is all about. Not money, not fame, it is about America’s Favorite Pasttime where dreams come true on the field.

I hope that MLB considers adding a team to Iowa because I would love to see them play there. Let’s bring the game back to simpler times. I miss those times. And the days when my NY teams won games.
