On last week’s episode of 9-1-1, Chimney (Kenneth Choi) and Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) had a gender reveal party with a cake.
During a break from filming the scene, Hewitt told her television husband to look closely at one of the flowers on the pink and blue cake. So, he leaned in and she pushed his head into the cake, leaving him covered in frosting.
He was fine, even his ego wasn’t bruised because they have so much fun on that set! We should all have as much fun as they do when we work.
When it comes to what the Hans are having, the cake was pink on the inside, but they are having a boy. They were given the wrong cake. Whoops!
Working on a television show seems like all glitz, glamour, and craft services. However, there is a lot of downtime with nothing to do.
So what do the actors do? If they are 9-1-1’s Kenneth Choi, Peter Krause, and Ryan Guzman, then they spent that time throwing an ice pack at each other’s firehouses.
By the looks of it, the real 9-1-1 got a call from them because that looks like it hurt a lot.
You can also tell they do this all the time because Aisha Hinds is unfazed by their crazy antics. She is just letting her boys be boys!

Summer is almost over. But it is never too late to enjoy Brat Summer! So, 9-1-1’s Aisha Hind, Kenneth Choi, and Ryan Guzman decided to do the dance that everyone is doing to Charli XCX’s Apple.
Well, everyone but Peter Krause. I don’t know what he was doing. But it is definitely not the Apple dance. And I don’t have a problem with that.
9-1-1 returns to ABC with new episodes on September 26th.
9-1-1 almost had to call 9-1-1 this season because of Peter Krause. Kenneth Choi shared a video of his co-star filming a scene that required him to leave a house and walk over to the pool.
The house had a wall with floor-length windows that look out the backyard. Well, they cleaned the windows so well that he didn’t realize they were there. So, Captain Nash went and bashed into the window.
Thankfully, his pride was hurt more than anything else, so he just laughed it off.
And here is my story about him. I was working on the same lot as him. I saw him walking by as he was memorizing his lines. He was so fixated on learning them that nothing could distract him. I was like, is this his ghost from Six Feet Under?
The point of that story is that he gets so into his acting that I can totally understand how this happened to him.

Before Kenneth Choi was saving lives on 9-1-1, he was selling magic brooms in Halloweentown. His skin has really cleared up since he was 26 in that 1998 movie.
