Justin Timberlake released his newest song You Can’t Stop This Feeling about month ago and people are still dance dance dancing to it. One man, who works for The James Figg in Thames, used it to him help clean to the backyard and he really got that sunshine in his pocket.
And I have it in my front pocket after watching him. So much so, I wish he would’ve turned the hose on the camera because I need that water to cool me down.
I remember hearing a story that premise behind REM’s Shiny Happy People, is that you can’t say the title three times without smiling. For me listening to Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling has the same effect. Therefore, it is nice to see that the music video is smile inducing from the beginning to the end. Who doesn’t get a happy feeling after watching people from all walks of life joyously dancing. I know it brightened my day.
Last week, when Justin Timberlake released his song Can’t Stop the Feeling for the Trolls soundtrack, and it was also announced in the press release that he is also singing True Colors with Anna Kendrick on the soundtrack. Today at Cannes, the two of them performed the song live for an audience. I think they did Cyndi Lauper proud because they definitely blew a lot of people away including me.
Don’t you think he seriously has such a beautiful voice when he sings a ballad acoustically.
You know the expression, good things come to those who wait. Well, it’s true! Because today Justin Timberlake released his first new song in like forever and it will make you dance, dance, dance.
Not only does he star in the upcoming animated movie Trolls, he is also working on the soundtrack. This is the first track from it and he will be singing on at least one other song. The album will also feature him singing Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors with Anna Kendrick. James Corden, Icona Pop, Zooey Deschanel and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will also be featured on it singing covers of some of the biggest songs from the last few decades.
But forget that I got that sunshine in my pocket and got the good soul in my feet after listening to Can’t Stop the Feeling. Forget Timberlake bringing sexy back, he’s bringing music back! We just have to wait until September 23rd for them to release the soundtrack. No worries will be listening to this tune over and over until then.
