May 10th, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Velveeta has been trying out new things this year. First, they started selling Velveeta-scented nail polish. Then they followed that up with a Velveeta Martini. Now, they partnered with Compartés Chocolatier to sell truffles with Velveeta.

TruffVels consist of Compartés sweet white chocolate and is the savory, creamy, delicious bite of Velveeta in a seashell-shaped truffle.

“This exciting and unique collaboration is delicious, decadent, delightful, and unexpected,” said Jonathan Grahm, Compartés CEO and Lead Chocolatier. “I love the idea of pushing the boundaries of chocolate making and creating a unique product unlike anything that’s ever been done before. With TruffVels mixing two of life’s greatest pleasures, chocolate, and cheese, we can all live the good ‘La Dolce VELVEETA’ life this Summer.”

The box of five savory and sweet truffles is available for $24.95 at Compartés.com. If you really want to try them, don’t wait too long because they are only available while supplies last.

Would you eat ICEE cereal?
April 26th, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

I love drinking ICEEs, and look forward to having one. But I am not sure I would eat a bowl of cereal with the Cherry and Blue Raspberry flavors like the frozen drink.

However, Kelloggs says that the cereal utilizes an innovative ingredient that cools your mouth as you eat it.

“Kellogg’s is excited about our first-ever collaboration with ICEE that delivers a ‘cool’ and delicious new cereal to excite your senses,” said Laura Newman, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Kellogg Company. “Nothing helps beat the heat like a cold, refreshing ICEE, and now fans can discover all the fun of ICEE at the breakfast table just in time for summer.”

Now, I am curious and want to try it. Are you brave enough to give it a taste?

I might even do a Gene Simmons and put ice in my cereal to make it even cooler!

Jelly Belly just released its sixth edition of BeanBoozled, and they added two new flavors into the mix.

If you are unfamiliar with BeanBoozled, Jelly Belly pairs two jelly beans that look the same but taste completely different. For example, is it peach or barf? There is only one way to find out, and that is to eat one.

And there is nothing worse than thinking you are going to get birthday cake, and it turns out to be dirty dishwater.

So what are the two flavors in this latest edition? They are is it cappuccino or liver & onions, and is it pomegranate or old bandage.

Is it wrong I want to try those to see what they taste like? Do you want to do it too?

Jerry O’Connell tried Van Leeuwen’s Ranch-flavored ice cream
March 21st, 2023 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn, Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Van Leeuwen and Hidden Valley Ranch announced that they were teaming up to make Ranch dressing flavored ice cream, I have wanted to know what it tastes like.

Now that it is available at Walmart, Jerry O’Connell got his hands on a pint and tried it out.

What did the host of The Talk think of it? “It’s not bad!” He declared. “At first, it’s disgusting. Then it’s not. Then it is a little disgusting. Then it’s not. It’s good.”

With an endorsement like that, I need to have it even more.

And if you want him to endorse your food items, he said, “If you send me food… I’m gonna eat it.” I am willing to let him be the guinea pig before I buy some of these interesting food combos. So please send him your samples so I know whether or not to eat them. Because it is all about me.

March 16th, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

I love frozen drinks like Pina Coladas, but I don’t know how I feel about sucking on a frozen beer. While that is me? Coors Light is now selling 6-packs of popsicles for $20.23. Clever pricing!

Do you want to try it? Personally, I think it will be cool, no pun intended, for the summer picnics or baseball games, but other than that, it is not for me. However, if it was a Chocolate Banana Monkey, then I would totally be down for putting that in my mouth like it was a…
