From 2001 to 2006, Joe Rogan was scaring people on Fear Factor, as compared to now, where he is doing it on his podcast.
During that time, Johnny Knoxville was scaring himself on Jackass. Now, he replacing that jackass on Fox’s version of Fear Factor: The Next Chapter.
“Johnny Knoxville is the champion of fearless entertainment,” said Michael Thorn, President of FOX Television Network. “His wild sense of humor, unmatched ability to push boundaries and take on the extreme makes him the perfect fit to lead this bold new reinvention of Fear Factor.”
I cannot think of a better person to host the show. Well, maybe Stephen Miller because he scares the shit out of me.
While I know Miller is my fear personified, most people don’t know theirs. So if you want to find out what it is on the game, then you can apply at FearIsBack.com.
Contestants will be dropped into an unforgiving, remote location, a group of strangers will live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting — and fear is a weapon. Only one contestant will conquer all their fears and walk away with the massive grand prize!
Fear Factor: The Next Chapter will debut this season on Fox.
Before we thought that Johnny Knoxville had suicidal tendencies, he couldn’t get suicide insurance on The Ben Stiller Show. Goth really worked on the 21 year old in that 1992 episode.
Seth Rogen has another movie coming out this summer, and it is his shittiest one yet. That is because Duhpocalypse is about Zombies who infect people with their diarrhea. Plus, it stars Johnny Knoxville and Josh Hutcherson. So, it should make a killing at the Box Office.
That is, if it were real. It was a teaser in the trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Studio. Rogen stars as the newly appointed head of a movie studio, Continental Studios. Desperate for the approval of celebrities, he and his team of executives at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.
What is more relevant than pooping Zombies? I’ll wait!
On another note, there is actually a Horror movie called Monsturd, which is about an escaped murderer who is accidentally turned into a life-size crap and goes around killing people through their toilets. You can watch it on Tubi now to get you prepared for whatever The Studio has planned for us starting on March 26th.
Before Johnny Knoxville was starring in movies, he was in the background of Tom Petty’s You Don’t Know How It Feels. To find out why you can’t see the 23-year-old in that 1994 music video, then click here!
When I saw that cast of Reboot included Keegan-Michael Key, Judy Greer, and Johnny Knoxville, I thought I was going to hate the series even though it also starred Paul Reiser and Rachel Bloom.
But I decided to tune into the show about a sitcom being rebooted by the estranged daughter of the original show creator who wants his show back, and I loved it. So did a lot of people. However, not enough because Hulu cancelled it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
However, the show might not be dead because the EP Steve Levitan is shopping it around to see if someone else will show it the love it deserves. Hopefully, someone will save it.
I feel for Levitan. He dumbed down his brilliance for Modern Family, and it was a hit. But when he went back to a show with some intelligence, it didn’t get to see a 2nd season.
