ORLANDO Bloom pokes fun at Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Johnny Depp in the new series of Extras. In the first episode of Ricky Gervais’s award-winning BBC2 comedy he plays a vain actor who can’t believe that an extra doesn’t fancy him.Orlando tells the extra, played by TV comedy star Ashley Jensen, 36, the ladies were all over him on the film set, ignoring heart-throb Johnny. The Brit actor and Lord of the Rings star, 27, joked: "It’s my looks that all the girls fawn over. Nobody was bothered about Johnny on set."Johnny freak I make art-house movies and have stupid scissors for hands. Willy Wonka more like Johnny W***er."

I don’t know about you, but given the chance to choose between the two for a one night stand. . . it would be Johnny Depp hands down. Seriously I can’t think of anyone who would choose Bloom over Depp, can you?

Johnny Depp has recorded a star-studded album of sea shanties that will appear in the final Pirates Of The Caribbea movie. The actor has joined forces with rocker pals including Bryan Ferry, Bono and folk singer Eliza Carthy to record the songs, which will also be released on CD.Depp had hoped pal Keith Richards to be involved, but the rocker – who will play Depp’s father in the last film – injured himself falling from a tree just before recording began. Carthy reveals, "It was Johnny’s idea. He thought that pirates should be singing these tunes on the boat during the film. The producers liked the idea and let him record this album. Keith was booked in to come to Los Angeles and record it, but then had that accident. Johnny was really upset and worried for him."

Johnny Depp as Fatty Arbuckle? |

Actor Johnny Depp has expressed his desire to play the role of Roscoe ‘Fatty’ Arbuckle in a film adaptation of the actor’s life. Fatty became infamous after it was claimed he killed a young starlet, Virginia Rappe by squashing her to death while raping her in 1921.Although there was very little evidence that Fatty had done such a thing, rumours of his alleged crime kept newspaper busy for years.Fatty never recovered from the scandal, he was blacklisted from the film industry after people believed him to be guilty and cinema’s stopped showing his films.Depp has acquired the film rights to Jerry Stahl’s fictional memoirs of Fatty Arbuckle and has high hopes of playing the lead role.
Entertainment Wise
Fatty Arbuckle was found innocent of the crime, but it was too late for his career. I hope he does the movie because it really is an interesting story.

Even before Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest set an all-time record for Hollywood’s biggest opening weekend – $132 million in ticket sales in its first three days – the waters were charted for the third and final installment of Disney’s buccaneer trilogy, to be called Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Johnny Depp, the star of the film, is so committed to the role, he’s keeping in the gold teeth sported by his character, Captain Jack Sparrow. "Are they gonna stay on?" he said to MTV News. "Only until we’re done filming number three. Then I’ll have to go through the process of yanking them." As for offering any hints about the twists and turns of the third movie’s plot, the stars have been coy. "I am so not going to say anything!" Keira Knightley told MTV News. "I’d have to kill you if I said anything. It would be very messy." Knightley added, however, "It should be good, though."Not to incur the wrath of Knightly, but actress Naomie Harris, who plays Tia Dalma, a voodoo fortuneteller in Dead Man’s Chest, revealed one clue about her relationship with Depp’s character in the forthcoming installment. "It’s supposed to be that we’re lovers," said Harris. "We talked about it in rehearsals, but Gore (Verbinski, the director) left it up to us, really, to come up with our own stories ourselves." The third installment, which is scheduled to be released next Memorial Day, will resolve the story line between Orlando Bloom’s character, Will, and his father – as well as offer a cameo role for Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, who will play Sparrow’s dad. In any case, the swashbuckling cast isn’t taking much time to enjoy the enormous success of the second film before starting the final one. "We’re going back soon," Orlando Bloom told MTV. "We’re going back to film three more months." Filming will resume in August, reportedly at Universal City in Hollywood, where an enormous Pirates set awaits to be plundered.

But I doubt 3 will be the final installment after this weekend’s box office.
