Jay Leno made his first appearance on The Tonight Show since he left the show for a second time. Not only did he sit down with his replacement, he also did some of his standup routine for the audience. You know what, it was kind of a dirty. I forgot that he had that side to him because he was so clean when he was hosting the NBC late night show.
When he was done telling his jokes, it was time for him to sit down with Jimmy Fallon. The first thing the new Tonight Show asked him was, “How am I doing?” Leno responded by talking about the weather. Of course he was joking, but he never did answer the question. So maybe he wasn’t?
It was nice to seeing Leno look so relaxed. That is how he looks when I see him driving around Los Angeles, and I’ve seen him driving around in his old cars a few times.

Matt Lauer is all wet!
November 5th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie were on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged them to a game of Pop Quiz. Basically the NBC late night host asked them a bunch of pop culture questions and for every answer they got wrong, Fallon would raise their chair. The goal is to get as many answers right, so your chair doesn’t reach balloon full of water. If it does, down comes a lot of water all over the loser.
The Today hosts might know where Iraq is on a map, but Savannah doesn’t know the name of the younger sister in Frozen and Matt can’t remember who played Ferris Bueller’s sister in the ’80s movie. So while they can tell you who won the elections yesterday, they don’t know the simple things like what is the name of Taylor Swift’s latest #1 album. And to me that is so much more important.
Anyways, Matt knows less that the new mom, so he got a much needed soaking. The best part is we got to watch it happen in slow-mo and what more can you ask for you to start your day.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Jimmy Fallon play a mean game of Water War!
October 30th, 2014 under Jake Gyllenhaal, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jake Gyllenhaal was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game of Water Water. The NBC late night host has played this game with Jon Hamm and Hugh Jackman, but neither of them got into as much as the Nightcrawler. With each win, each man found a new way to dump the water on his competitor, and by the end of the game they were both dripping wet.
Watch the whole game to see how they got that way because you will be laughing so hard that parts of you will be wet.

Watch Mike Tyson playing with himself!!!
October 29th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon, Mike Tyson. [ Comments: none ]

Mike Tyson was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon wanted to see if the boxing legend could beat himself in the classic videogame Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out. The game was all set up for Iron Mike to play and with a one-two punch he was ready to go. So find out the answer to one of Mike Tyson Mysteries (that airs on Adult Swim, Mondays at 12m) by watching this incredible segment. It is a real knock out.
BTW am I the only who wondered if that is what Tyson sounds like in bed when he started grunting like that?

Bradley Cooper and Jimmy Fallon have a giggling fit!
October 19th, 2014 under Bradley Cooper, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Bradley Cooper was on The Tonight Show to promote his Broadway drama The Elephant Man, and Jimmy Fallon and him couldn’t stop laughing. No matter how much they tried, they couldn’t stop the giggles. Finally, when they got under control, the NBC late night host said the wrong thing and it started all over again.
Even though not much was said, this is one of the greatest interviews I’ve seen on late night in a while. Who doesn’t like to watch people laugh?
