Jimmy Fallon is the EP of Guys with Kids and yesterday the cast of the NBC sitcom was on Late Night. The NBC host was talking to Anthony Anderson, Jesse Bradford and Zach Cregger about TV Theme Songs and then the 4 of them sang some of the best opening numbers to ever grace out televisions like the ones for The Golden Girls, All in the Family, Full House and The Jeffersons to name a few. They were so good that I think they should make it a weekly thing. And maybe next time they can include the theme to Guys with Kids, oh wait the show doesn’t have one…
Jimmy Fallon has a lot of fun torturing his guests on Late Night by playing games and Kelly Ripa decided to get revenge on him for what he did to her. When she was on the show he played Rock, Paper, Scissors, Pie with her and she got a pie to her face. So today when he was on Live with Kelly and Michael she came up with a game for them to play. It was still Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot; but instead of pies the loser had to step under a bucket with a mystery item. Kelly lost first and had money rain down on her. Fallon lost the remaining rounds and had whale sperm, Pepto Bismol, chocolate and finally features poured down all over him. I am sure every guest that has suffered on Late Night because of what he does to him for fun, will enjoy watching this video over and over and over because she totally got revenge for all of them!
Tony Danza was on Late Night and Jimmy Fallon mentioned that the Taxi driver is a talented musician. In fact Tony can play the ukulele, so the NBC late night host told the former teacher if he would play song on it that he would sing along. So Danza grabbed the musical instrument and started to play Be My Gal, one of the few songs Fallon doesn’t know the words to. So even though the Boss can play a mean ukulele, I think I enjoyed watching Fallon trying to sing along even more.
I hope Fallon brings Danza back for a do over and he gets to do a song with The Roots too!
BTW am I the only who still thinks that Tony Danza is as cute as ever?
Florence Welch was a guest on NBC’s Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon brought back one of his classics to duet with her. The two of them sang Balls in Your Mouth and she went for it like she wanted some balls her mouth. Seriously didn’t she take that song to a whole new level of excitement?
BTW I had to stop listening to that song in the car because I would go into places and start singing the chorus out loud because it was stuck in my head. Yes I got a lot of dates, but nothing to write home about.
The Republican and the Democratic conventions are finally over and Jimmy Fallon rewrote James Taylor’s Fire and Rain as a tribute to them and sang it yesterday on Late Night. I think that song pretty much sums up all the BS that went on during them. I am so happy those conventions are over and I can’t wait for this election to be done with because I am so sick of all of the hate that is coming along with it.
