A long, long time ago, Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Natalie Morales had jobs that are different than the one that they have now as hosts on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk.

Starting on Monday, May 20th, they are all going back to work and doing what they used to do when they were first starting out in the work world.

Underwood starts the week off. The comedian will be taking orders at Pioneer Chicken. Hopefully, she won’t be fried after a long day of work handing out fried chicken and fried fish.

The next day, the Fat Kid from Stand By Me takes an acting class—not just any acting class, but one for children.

Hump Day gets a kick from Kloots. The dancer dresses up as a hot dog mascot, just like she did when she was a teen.

We know Gbajabiamila as a professional football player, but before that, he was making a splash saving lives as a lifeguard.

The week closes out with total cuteness. News anchor Morales spent her teens working with animals, and she will get to do it again. Sounds like a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Who do you think is going to have the most challenging time doing their 9 to 5 again? And who do you think might hand in their application because they are going to need a new job in January?

Jerry O’Connell’s sexy selfie!
May 17th, 2024 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

Jerry O’Connell got ready to watch Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, so he made like one of their albums. You know, Slippery When Wet. Although his towel somehow was able to stay up and not slip off!

However, would that be such a bad thing because he looks sexy for 50?

CBS announced today that they picked up The Talk for a 15th season. That is the good news. The bad news is that it will be its final season.

“It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task, and we express our sincere gratitude to our amazing hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood, our executive producer/showrunner Rob Crabbe and the hardworking producing team and crew. We also want to acknowledge our former show hosts and colleagues who contributed throughout the seasons,” Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment, and David Stapf, President, CBS Studios said in a statement. We truly appreciate the skill, creativity, and dedication everyone involved brought to the show every day. And of course, we thank the numerous guests who appeared, and the millions of viewers who tuned in daily. For the final season, we plan to celebrate the show and give it the proper sendoff it deserves when it concludes in December 2024.”

It is expected to be replaced by the upcoming African-American Soap Opera, The Gates.

Are you going to miss it? I am going to miss seeing what funny things Jerry was going to do during each episode.

Jerry O’Connell and Ethan Peck are twinning
April 2nd, 2024 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn, Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

Ethan Peck is starring in Star Trek: Strange Worlds with Rebecca Romijn, who is married to Jerry O’Connell. And now her worlds have collided because the men in her life have collided. Not only that, they are wearing the same “couch” shirt.

Hopefully, Mrs. O’Connell will be able to tell them apart. Because is kind of hard.

Lenny Kravitz got down on his knees when he met Rita Moreno!
March 15th, 2024 under Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn, Lenny Kravitz, Rita Moreno. [ Comments: none ]

Rita Moreno is a legend. So, when people see her, they are enamored by her presence. Even Lenny Kravitz couldn’t help himself.

The EGOT winner told Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O’Connell, and Natalie Morales on The Talk that when the singer saw her at an after-Oscars party, he got down on his knees and praised her. He even kissed her hand. But it didn’t stop there. He then told her, “If I never meet anyone else that I love in my life, you’re the one!”

And with that, she went weak in her knees. Who wouldn’t do that? It is Lenny Kravitz.

It is so lovely that he did that because he grew up with legends thanks to his dad, Sy Kravitz, who was a big shot at NBC, and his mom, Roxie Roker, who starred on The Jeffersons. Imagine the people he grew up with, and yet he still treats an idol as one! His parents did a good job with him.
