Did you know that only two of the six Friends stars won an Emmy for their roles on the sitcom? They are not alone; Steve Carrell and Kaley Cuoco are also Emmyless.
Those six are not alone; there are five others who also don’t have a statuette, and Pop Culture Jeopardy wanted to see if the contestants knew they were.
There is one answer that shocked me more than the others. Can you guess which one it is? How did the Emmy voters ignore that magnificent talent? It is a sacrilege.
Do you know who has been nominated 15 times and has never won? What is Colin Jost? Maybe he will finally get one for hosting this Prime Video game show, which streams new episodes every Wednesday?
Celebrity Jeopardy airs during primetime, so the writers are coming up with riskier categories. For example, Ken Jennings wanted to see if Melissa Peterman, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Jackie Tohn can Name That “3” Some.
Well, I was hoping it was going to be clues about ménage à trois, throuples, or celebrity triangles. But it was not.
Even though I was disappointed it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be about, I got all of them correct. How did you do?
Pop Culture Jeopardy has an interesting category on a recent episode. Colin Jost wanted to see if the players could identify who are the Disney Princesses in Therapy.
So it would be like, “This Princess suffers from depression due to her wicked stepmother and ugly stepsisters.”
While that is not one of the clues, press play and see if you get all of the answers correct, like the contestants and I did.
New episodes stream every Wednesday on Prime Video.
Jeopardy has a spinoff on Prime Video that focuses on Pop Culture only. During a recent episode, Colin Jost asked the contestants about Thirst Traps.
That’s right, Saturday Night Live’s Thirst Trap was seeing if he could trap the Pop Culture Jeopardy contestant with good-looking celebrities. Did he do it? Nope. The contestant and I got all of them correct.
