What is, what’s the lowest score on Jeopardy?

Yesterday was a big day for Jeopardy fans. LeVar Burton finally got his chance to host the game show. While that is exciting enough, the episode was also monumental for another reason.

Patrick Pearce has an honor that no one else on the show has ever had. It is not that he won Final Jeopardy. He didn’t even make it to the final round. That is because he scored -$7,400 after the first two rounds.

That means he has the title of getting the Worst Score in Jeopardy history. Stephanie Hull had held that title since March 2015. Back then, she ended her game with $6,400, according to Entertainment Weekly.

I need to try out for the show. This way, I can become a contestant and take over that title. I will do worst than the two of them combined! I am that dumb. I mean, I am that bad of a player.

What is, how well do you know Broadway opening numbers?
July 13th, 2021 under Broadway, Jeopardy. [ Comments: none ]

Tell me you grew up with Broadway musicals without telling me you grew up with Broadway musicals.

How? The other night on Jeopardy, they had a category dedicated to Broadway Musicals By Opening Numbers. It was so easy that any fan of the Great White Way could get them all, which is why I did.

Too bad they didn’t make it really easy and ask Five-Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Six-Hundred Minutes. Although, they were all pretty easy.

I feel so smart! That is until I try the other categories. Then I am stoopid again.

What is a Jeopardy category any little girl can nail?
July 6th, 2021 under Jeopardy. [ Comments: none ]

Whenever I tune in to Jeopardy, I end up so far in the negative that I can’t even count that high. Or would it be that low?

Anyways, yesterday that had a category even my 7-year-old niece could answer every question correctly. What is it? Disney Songs. Press play, and see how well you would do if you were a contestant on that episode?

Not only did it feel good to answer every question correctly, but you also feel good thinking of all of those songs and movies again. The power of Disney.

What is, LeVar Burton will guest host Jeopardy?
April 21st, 2021 under Jeopardy, LeVar Burton. [ Comments: none ]

Fans of LeVar Burton have been doing everything in their power to get him to guest host Jeopardy, and it worked. Today, the game show announced that he will be in the final group of guest hosts this season, along with George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, David Faber, and Joe Buck.

“THANK YOU… to all y’all for your passionate support,” Burton wrote. “I am overjoyed, excited, and eager to be guest-hosting Jeopardy!, and will do my utmost best to live up to your faith you have in me. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE! Go ahead and take my word for it, this time.”

Mike Richards, Executive Producer of Jeopardy, confirmed they made the difference. “Our passionate fans are telling us what they like, and we are listening,” he said. “All of the guest hosts have brought individualism, energy and an authentic love of our show to each of their episodes. We look forward to sharing the rest of the season with our viewers.”

Except for the Reading Rainbow host, I think the rest of the names are a yawn. I don’t know how people stay awake when they watch Good Morning America. That show is as exciting as watching my coffee cool down so I can drink it without burning my tongue.

I wish they would’ve gotten Neil DeGrasse Tyson to audition to be a permanent host. I think he would have been great. He’s smart and funny, unlike Stephanopoulozzzzz.

What is, Anderson Cooper’s son watching him host Jeopardy?
April 19th, 2021 under Anderson Cooper, Jeopardy. [ Comments: none ]

Anderson Cooper is hosting Jeopardy this week, and he already has a fan. That fan is his 11-month-old son.

“Wyatt has never seen me on tv before, and he likely won’t for a long while, but apparently he caught a bit of me on @Jeopardy,” he wrote. “It was a dream come true to be guest hosting, and to pay tribute to #AlexTrebek and raise money for @hashaiti.”

Now, can we talk about how cute it is that the toddler is watching his dad on TV like that? I can’t say I blame his dad for not wanting his son to watch him on CNN. The longer kids can go without knowing about hard news, the happier they will be.
