I love David Mamet!!! |

As we know Jeremy Piven was forced to drop out the Broadway show Speed-The-Plow because he very elevated amount of mercury in his system from eating sushi two times a day and taking Chinese herbs. Well the show's producer David Mamet's response to Variety about him leaving show is classic and seems to really spell out how he feels about losing his male lead.
"I talked to Jeremy on the phone, and he told me that he discovered that he had a very high level of mercury. So my understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer."
Ouch and that is why I love David Mamet now!!! BTW William H Macy, a true actor, will be taking on the role next year!!!

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal members of the Mile High Club? |
December 5th, 2007 under Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon/Ryan Phillippe. [ Comments: none ]

According to Celebitchy that is just what Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhal did on the plane ride back to LA from Frankfurt.
Reese and Jake kissed and cuddled together under a blanket in her recliner seat in the back row,” the eyewitness adds.
Three hours into the 12-hour flight, Reese got up and walked to the forward bathroom. “Two minutes later, Jake got up and casually strolled into the same bathroom! I started timeing them – they were together for a full 11 minutes!” says the eyewitness.
Jake finally came out alone, and Reese followed three minutes later, the eyewitness adds – “and when they each walked by, it seemed like everyone in their entourage took pains to look away!”
I am not sure if I believe this because that seems so out of character for Reese, but it makes a good a post. Granted it is a long flight and that is something to do to waste the time especially if the on-flight movie is one of Jakes…just joking!

Jeremy Piven is not a nice Jewish son to say it midly |
August 21st, 2007 under Jake Gyllenhaal. [ Comments: 1 ]

I have never been a fan of Jeremy Piven and this story from Page Six gives me another reason not to like him.
Spies at Nobu Malibu spotted Piven having "a very loud argument" with his own mother Friday night. "It was so venomous, the entire restaurant could hear them. I don't know what they were arguing about, but it was loud," said the onlooker, who noted that perturbed patrons included CAA agent Rick Nicita, who was sitting at a nearby table with Rob Reiner and a group of friends.
Of course his reps did not respond to Page Six's phone calls. What a d!ck.

Is Sony on The Lookout for a new Spiderman? |
April 12th, 2007 under Jake Gyllenhaal, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. [ Comments: none ]

Cinema Blend is saying that Sony might've found their replacement for Spiderman if Tobey Maguire decides to hang up his suit. The actor of choice is no longer seems to be Jake Gyllenhaal, but now they are looking at Joseph Gordon-Levitt. They are saying that Sony likes that he is younger, cheaper and actually better for the role. Although Sony is not really on The Lookout for a new Spiderman, they have to be safe in case Tobey Maguire opts of the fourth movie. Personally I think Gordon-Levitt is about to break whether it is Spiderman or another movie, and I also think he would be great in the role! He is nerdy, but endearing.

Kirsten Dunst talks about Jake Gyllenhaal, sex and Marie Antionette |
September 9th, 2006 under Jake Gyllenhaal, Kirsten Dunst. [ Comments: none ]

DESPERATE Kirsten Dunst bent over Brokebackwards trying to spice up her love life with Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal. The sexy Spiderman star romped all over the place with her Brokeback Mountain man — but now she sadly admits it couldn’t save their three-year relationship. Kirsten, who plays the title role in new blockbuster Marie Antoinette, said: "Jake and I couldn’t last. He’s a stay-at-home boy and I’m an out-on-the-town girl. "We tried to spice things up — we had sex in cars, in the bathroom and even by the sea. The only place we didn’t have the guts to try was in a walkway in a hotel because we thought we might get kicked out if we were caught. "I’m so young, he’s so young and I just keep thinking now I need to be on my own." But Kirsten opened her heart to talk of her secret sadness at the break-up and her hopes for the future. "Jake was the love of my life," she said. "He was, is and always will be. "Despite what has happened, though, I still have this whole fairytale vision in my head because I was brought up on movies and storybooks that say I’m going to find my soulmate, get married and have a perfect life. "Maybe one day that will be with Jake." Kirsten, 24, who split with the 25-year-old Donnie Darko star last year, added: "Maybe I’m a weird girl and I just needed a good freak to match me. "In Jake I believe I found that. He’s a dork. That’s what I love about him. "But I felt that at the age of 22 I just wasn’t ready to settle for a long-term commitment. "I feel so young and there’s still so much to do and see. But I’m not seeing anyone else and as far as I know neither is he…" Kirsten plays Marie Antoinette—the childish, spoiled and ultimately doomed wife of Louis XVI—in a controversial new film about her life leading up to the French Revolution, out on September 29. It’s a role which Kirsten admits pushed her to breaking point. She said: "After filming I’d just go home and pass out. I’d have a glass of champagne, which I would never normally do. I mean, who drinks champagne before they go to bed? Modest Kirsten explained: "I just never felt worthy of playing the part of Marie Antoinette. "Normally when you make a movie, everyone calls you to ask how it is going. Well I couldn’t talk to anybody, not even my friends. "I just did not have the energy. When filming came to an end it was such a relief and I slept so hard that I woke up with a bloody nose." But she insists the end product was worth all the pressure and stress."When I saw the movie for the first time I was so proud," she said. But it’s Jake who obviously still has a hold on her heart. She said: "Maybe some day it will work out for us. I’m sad this happened but my career is blossoming and I want to make the most of every moment. "We’re two people who’ve been in love and the feelings we have for each other will remain very special. "I don’t believe we’re finished for ever…and neither does he."
