Hugh Grant says that Drew Barrymore’s ‘singing is horrendous’
March 15th, 2023 under Drew Barrymore, Hugh Grant. [ Comments: none ]

Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant starred in 2007’s Music and Lyrics, and both actors sang in the movie.

Recently when Grant was answering Wired’s Web’s Most Searched Questions, someone asked if that was him singing. He said that it was and that he was “autotuned beyond belief.”

Then Grant took back that statement, “Actually, that is not true. I am autotuned a bit, but not as much as some.” Then explained that Barrymore’s “singing is just horrendous. I mean, I’ve heard dogs bark better than she sings.”

However, he did say something positive about his co-star, “Once they tuned her up. She sounded way better than me because she’s got heart and voice and Rock’n’Roll.”

This has not been a good week for Grant and his mouth. First, he was trashed for a bad interview he had with Ashley Graham on the Oscars’ champagne carpet on Sunday. Where is Divine Brown when you need her?

And talking about divine. Wouldn’t it be divine if Grant was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show and she talks to him about this? It would be even better if she sang for him without autotune!

Hugh Grant’s interview with Ashley Graham is awesome!

Ashley Graham was asked to interview celebrities on the red carpet at the Oscars, but not everyone can be an interviewer. Because of that, she had a very awkward interview with Hugh Grant.

She started off by asking calling him a veteran of the Oscars because everyone likes being called. Then she wanted to know what is his favorite part of coming to the event. He didn’t understand why he was being a simplistic question. So he told her it is “vanity fair.” And she thought he was talking about the Vanity Fair afterparty.

After that, there was no way to save the interview. But since this was live television, she had to go on. So she followed that up by asking who he was looking forward to seeing win. And he was like no one.

With that failing, the model thought she could ask him who he was wearing because that is always a safe question unless he is wearing a suit made by his tailor.

OK, time to wrap it up. She should ask him about a movie he was in this year. That should make him come around. Nope. Because he was only The Glass Onion for a few seconds and didn’t have fun making it.

That interview went as well as her fashion choice for the night.

People say Grant was in the wrong. But I think she was. She should’ve put more effort into asking questions than just the generic ones that any fresh out of college student can ask.

Does Hugh Grant think his RomCom romances got a happy ending?
November 5th, 2020 under Hugh Grant. [ Comments: none ]

I think we can all agree that Hugh Grant is one of the Kings of RomComs along with Richard Gere and John Cusack. The actor is always the guy who gets girls. But does he think he would keep them? Would his characters’ relationships have four weddings or a funeral?

“I’m sure they were all disasters. Those films were all lies.” Grant told Collider. “I’m sure that my character in Notting Hill and Julia Roberts’ character have been through the ugliest imaginable divorce with really expensive, nasty lawyers.”

In his defense, he did not get married until he was 57. Thus, it took him a long time to find his Mrs. Right. That might make any man cynical. Even one that seems to be as romantic as him.

Hugh Grant’s marriage started off with his wife getting kidnapped

Honeymoons are supposed to be memorable, but for Hugh Grant and his wife, it was memorable for a different reason. Mr. and Mrs. Grant went to Paris and took a taxi ride. The actor told Seth Meyers on Late Night yesterday that he realized he did not have any cash on him, so he asked the driver if his credit card machine worked. The driver told him, “oui, oui.” But when it was time to pay, it did not. Therefore, the cab driver took him to the bank and that ATM machine did not work either. Thus, Grant told his wife to get out of the taxi because they were not going to pay the 6 euros since they did not have any paper money on them. As soon as the driver heard that, he drove away with Anna Eberstein still inside the vehicle.

Something she is still mad at her husband about. Not only because he did not stop it, but because he did not even run after the car. He says that it was because it was going 50 miles an hour and he would never be able to catch up. Which is true, but she bore three of his children, he should have at least tried to catch up.

Anyways, if they get a divorce, then she can use this example to get all of his money and then some! Don’t you agree?

Plus, didn’t he learn anything from Four Weddings and a Funeral, the movie that made him an international star in 1994? If he did not run after Andie McDowell, then they never would have hooked up and the movie would not have been the success that it still is to this very day.

Hugh Grant’s sweet words on married life!
June 27th, 2018 under Hugh Grant. [ Comments: none ]

On May 25th, 57-year-old Hugh Grant got married for the first to his three-time baby mama Anna Eberstein. Today when he was on Today, Savannah Guthrie wanted to know how married life is treating him.

He told her, “It is really nice, so I cannot pretend it isn’t. I should have done it before.” Then he added, “I am lucky. I have a great wife. I love her.” That is why he is the go-to Rom-Com guy! He is the man that every woman wants to marry and someone finally got him to walk down the aisle.

As you heard the NBC anchor say he has 5 kids. Three with his wife, John, 5, a 2-year-old and a newborn, and two with his ex-girlfriend, Tinglan Hong, Tabitha Xiao Xi, 6, and Felix Chang, 5. Imagine having 5 kids by 2 women all under 7? That is hell on earth or in his case, making up for lots of lost time.
