Depp, Farrell and Law give their salaries to Heath Ledger’s daughter!
August 16th, 2008 under Colin Farrell, Heath Ledger/ Michelle Williams, Johnny Depp. [ Comments: none ]

Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law who took over the role that Heath Ledger played when he died, have given the money they earned from The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassu to his daughter Matilda Rose according to what the director told The Sun!

Director Terry Gilliam, 67, said: “They didn’t take money — it goes to Heath’s daughter.

“That’s extraordinary! And wonderful . . . and when you’re part of that, you think, ‘Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.’

"And we’ve got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help.”

When the three heard that Heath did not have a will that protected her, they took it among themselves to help her. I think it so admirable what the fathers did for another kid. Just for that I will go see this movie to support those who support others.

Heath Ledger died of accidental prescription drug overdose

ETOnline posted the the toxicology report from the NY Medical Examiner of what killed Heath Ledger.

"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine.

"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."

When is the FDA and/or whatever agency that could investigate how these celebs are getting all these prescription drugs prescribed to them so easily going to look in to it. Heath is at least the second celebrity (Anna Nicole Smith was the other) in the last year to die of an accidental prescription overdose. How many more people have to die before someone looks into this matter?

Michelle Williams breaks her silence

Michelle Williams issued a statement about the loss of Heath Ledger according to MomLogic.
"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up in the best memories of him."
That statement is so gut-wrenching. My prayers are with her, Matilda and his family.

TheLondonPaper got this amazing exclusive and sad video of Heath Ledger filming in London 3 days before he was passed away way too young.
Check out the TLP to see why this video was shot. The story is really interesting because the person who filmed it, filmed it for a completely different reason.
Thanks Prudence

Heath Ledger’s family speaks
January 22nd, 2008 under Heath Ledger/ Michelle Williams. [ Comments: 2 ]

"Heath's family confirm the very tragic, untimely, and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his new york apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30pm US time," he said.

"We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time.

"Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life, but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him. He was a down-to-earth, generous, kind-hearted, life loving, unselfish individual who was extremely inspirational to many.

"Please now respect our families need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately, thank you."

My prayers go out to them during this difficult time.
