Would you open a door with the Halloween logo on it?
October 19th, 2018 under Halloween (movies). [ Comments: none ]

Crypt TV put a small makeshift room on Universal CityWalk with the Halloween logo on it and dared tourists to open it. When they did, inside was a Michael Myers lookalike. How did they react? Same way moviegoers will this weekend. First, they say it, then they do it.

Halloween and Jamie Lee Curtis are back for a final chapter
September 15th, 2017 under Halloween (movies), Jamie Lee Curtis. [ Comments: none ]

On October 25, 1978, Halloween was forever changed thanks to Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis. Nearly 40 years later, on October 18, 2018, they get to tell their story one last time in Halloween’s final chapter together because it is being billed as Laurie Strode’s final confrontation with Myers. What does that means, we will find out in a year, a month and 4 days.

This the 6th time she has played the part in the franchise and let’s just hope she goes out as brilliantly as she came into the Horror movies. Since the legendary director John Carpenter, who started it all, is consulting on the upcoming feature, you know it will be better than Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

This is the 9th film (not including the Rob Zombie reboot and its sequel) in the franchise and the first one 15 years.

If it is done well and does good at the box office, hopefully Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street will get the sequels that they so rightfully deserve.

Rob Zombie cleans up his act for Woolite
June 17th, 2011 under Halloween (movies). [ Comments: none ]

via NME
Rob Zombie the horror movie director and writer who brought us House of a 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects and the first two Halloween remake films to name a few is cleaning up his act because he did a commercial for Woolite. When I read that he was doing an ad for a detergent, for some reason I thought it was going to be all happy and colorful like all the others, but what I saw was a beautiful nightmare come true. Seriously that is one of the most brilliant commercials I have ever seen! He needs to win the Cleo for it because it is so spot on.
The only problem I have with the advertisement is that when I came up with ads like that in college my teachers told me I would never make it in Advertising. I guess that is why “they say those who can do and those who can’t teach!”
