Most of us know what it is like to have a wet T-Shirt on, but do you what it is like to put one on? It is not easy. Imagine trying to put 13 on in one minute so you can be in break the Guinness World Record. That is what Today tried to find out today, so they had Natalie Morales, producer Alex Ficquette and fan see if they could break the record.
Did they break the record? The fan came the closest and she only managed to get 5 on. So I guess it is harder to get into a wet T-Shirt than to have someone get it off of you.
On a really hot day, why don’t you try to break this record. Whether you do it or not, it will probably feel really good. That and you know you want to.

I don’t know about you, but whenever I see a Smart Car, I wonder how even one person fits inside of it. Turns out you can actually fit a lot more than one person in the tiny automobile, you can fit a cheerleading team in there. Recently, Italy’s Comet Cheerleaders decided to try to break the Guinness Book of World Records current record for Most People Crammed in a Smart Car. The current holder of the Record is the Glendale Cheerleading Team, who miraculously fit 20 people that are over 18 and stand taller than 5′ back in 2011. Did Italy crush USA’s record? Nope, they tied it.
So I guess 20 is the most people you can uncomfortably fit in a Smart Car. The more you know.
While most bands break Guinness World Records with the sales of their songs, albums and/or concerts and/or how long their music stays on the charts, Backstreet Boys broke one completely unrelated to their tunes.
The Boy Band is on a cruise right now with thousands of their fans from all over the World and that worked to their advantage. They were able to clinch the World Record for Most Nationalities in a Jacuzzi. How many? 30 to be exact and they were from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Guatemala, Netherlands, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Philippines, USA, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Cuba. In order to beat the previous record, the participants had to show their passports and stay in the hot tub for at least 5 minutes. I am sure those women had a hard time doing that. Not!
Seriously, if you are going to be in the Guinness Book of World Records, you might as well have fun doing it. Looks like they all had a blast.
But not a blast from the past because it wasn’t a Hot Tub Time Machine. Sorry, I had to!
BTW this not their only record in the book. They also hold the title for Best-Selling Album in the USA by a Boy Band. Take that, Take That and *NSYNC!
UPDATE: Here is the video of them breaking the record!
Thanks to DVDs and online streaming services, we have discovered you can binge watch your favorite shows or discover news ones. The phenomenon has become so popular that it has now become a entry in Guinness Book of World Records. The first title holder did it for 92 hours in March, but their record only lasted a month. A week ago, Alejandro “AJ” Fragoso and Molly Ennis started watching back to back episodes of Battlestar Galactica, Twilight Zone, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bob’s Burgers and more for 94 straight hours according to TechInsider. WPIX adds that the Brooklynites were allowed take 5 minute breaks each hour to use the bathroom, eat, nap, change or do whatever. The other 55 minutes, they had to keep their eyes on the television set. Sadly, Ennis was disqualified, but AJ finished the binge watch extravaganza on Tuesday. Does he remember all 94 hours of television? Nope, and he even started seeing things that weren’t there on day 2. But on Day 4 he was was $2,000 richer thanks to Cyberlink.
As much as I love love love television, there is no way you could pay me just $2,000 to watch TV for 94 hours straight. But if I did it, I would take it back old school and watch Taxi, The Golden Girls, Soap, Benson, Mork & Mindy, Emergency, Quincy, Marcus Welby, Cop Rock and Boston Legal.
Could you do it? And what would you watch?
Matt Stonie won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest this July 4th, and he is still eating his way through fast food.
He recently challenged himself to beat the current Guinness Book of World Records record of downing the most Big Macs in an hour. The current record is 17 in 60 minutes, and he decided to top that by 8. That’s right, he drove to the nearest McDonald’s and ordered 25 of them. Then he went home, lined them up and put on the timer. One by one, he gobbled them up and within 12 minutes he tied the record. Ten minutes after that, he had finished all 25. When he was done, he was looking worse for wear, which is totally understandable because I felt the same after just watching him.
Especially when you consider he consumed 11 pounds of food, 13,250 calories and 825 grams of fat in just 22 minutes. What is so frustrating is how he still remains skinny after eating all of that. Well after he takes a major poop because his belly swelled to size of a Kim Kardashian who is 9 months pregnant.
You know what, for some reason, I am craving a Big Mac, so off I go. Do you want one or will you never eat one again?
