Before Green Day was playing stadiums, they played Pinole Valley High School in Pinole, California. You can tell that the barely legal band was destined for stardom in 1990.

Green Day are my heroes! Yesterday, during New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC, Green Day played American Idiot.

However, not the version they originally released in 1998. Instead, they changed the line I’m not a part of a redneck agenda to I’m not a part of a MAGA agenda!

And now the MAGAts are mad at them. I don’t know why they are pissed. I guess it is because the truth hurts. They are American idiots!

Green Day’s new album, Saviors, comes out on January 19th.
