Fox is slowly turning into Gordon Ramsay’s network and I don’t have a problem with it. Tonight at 8p his fourth series on the network debuts and you will want to check into Hotel Hell. It is like Kitchen Nightmares, but for hotels instead of restaurants.
During tonight’s series premiere Gordon goes to Vermont to help out a quaint little inn that is decorated to the max. The owner and his partner have decorated the place with so many Chachkies that they think it makes their place high end. In fact they have spent so much money on all of this clutter that they can’t afford to pay the staff. Now Gordon has to show the error of their ways even though they don’t want to see it. He does something that will shock them to change their ways and you have to see what he does to believe it. You will also enjoy this show because it is interesting to see how hotels can get it so wrong and learn to get it right.
Oh and did I mention that we get to see Gordon Ramsay naked when he goes to take bath? Dang pixelation.
After Hotel Hell at 8p, Hell’s Kitchen returns after being off the air for two weeks and the show isn’t the only thing that is back tonight. Several runners up from the past seasons return to take on the final 6 black coats. Only one team can win, and because of that seven people will be sent home tonight.
Then tomorrow at 9p MasterChef is also back and the final 6 are broken up in to 2 teams and they will have to compete like they are in Hell’s Kitchen at an actual Michelin Star Restaurant. During the episode Joe Bastianich will say something so intensive that Gordan Ramsay and Graham Elliot have to scold him on it. Then later on in the episode he has to apologize for it because he was so wrong. After he says he is sorry, someone else will have to say sorry when they opt out the pressure test. Can’t say I blame that person for doing that because it is a competition show and not a place to make friends.
Gordon Ramsay’s two cooking competitions are back on Fox tonight and they are making this summer even hotter than it already is.
At 8p Hell Kitchen is serving up a new cast and they will all be getting a new ‘do. That’s because they will all have to shave their heads if they want to stay on the show. Once they are plucked the competition begins and the kitchen has never seen heat like this. It looks like the show is getting a new lease of life in its 10the season.
Then at 9p MasterChef is back with a whole new set of home cooks, and one of them you will have to see him do his magic to believe it…that’s because he is blind. Since it is the audition phase, you see a lot of delicious dishes but you don’t really get a feel for how the show will play out. But you don’t have to because you know it is going to be as yummy as the last two seasons.
Gordon Ramsay found out Hell’s Kitchen is nothing compared to the soccer field. While the infamous chef was playing a charitable game of soccer, he was taken down by Teddy Sheringham and then he was rushed to the hospital when he couldn’t get up. The Kitchen Nightmares star Tweeted today, “Thx 4 all the messages. Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine Gx” And with that Tweet Fox is breathing a major sigh of relief because what would they do without their MasterChef?
He wasn’t the only celebrity playing on his team Soccer Aid 2012, he was joined by Michael Sheen, Will Ferrell, Gerard Butler, Mike Myers, James McAvoy, Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, Woody Harrelson and Edward Norton.
Fox announced premiere dates for their hot summer lineup and it is all about Gordon Ramsay!!! Starting on Tuesday, May 29th, Hell’s Kitchen returns at 8p and then it will be followed by his other cooking competition show MasterChef at 9p. That following Monday, June 4th his new show Hotel Hell debuts. HH is like Kitchen’s Nightmares, but for Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts. I am so looking forward to those hot summer nights I will be spending with the Chef who uses the f-word more than he does another f-word, you know food.
Now Fox’s summer isn’t all about Ramsay, So You Think You Can Dance will be back on Thursday, May 24th and then the following week it will moving to its regularly scheduled Wednesday airings. This season the show is only airing one night a week and they have yet to announce how that will change things up. Either way, the show lost me as viewer a while ago because it was too much about the judges’ egos and not enough about the dancers.
