Forget Animation Domination, Fox is all about Ramsay Domination because they picked up Hotel Hell for a second season. The renewal is not a surprise because the show where Ramsay helps hotels get back on track has been a hit since its debut. No word when it will be back, but if you are a hotel in desperate need of help then email [email protected]
I wonder what Fox and Ramsay will come up with next to go with his other Fox shows Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef and of course Hotel Hell. What is left?
We are two weeks away from the MasterChef finale on Fox, but tonight’s Pressure Test might be too hard for 2 of the final four.
Tonight at 9p the final four contestants are split into two teams and they have to cook a three-course meal for three Michelin-starred chefs: Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy. Cooking for those world renowned Chefs might seem like a huge pressure test, but it nothing as compared to what the three residents Chef have planned for the losing team tonight. It is such a tough Pressure Test that even they deem it impossible and maybe something that the amateur chefs might not be able to do. I don’t cook and even I know the challenge would be difficult for the most experience chefs, let alone two people who have been cooking at home until this show. So watching them go for it, made it even more impressive. Will they be able to make the impossible possible? You will have to tune in to find out in an episode that will make you feel the heat of their kitchen in the coolness of your own.
Ever since Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez left American Idol, almost every musician has been rumored to be a new judge on the show. Well yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gordon Ramsay shared video of him at an AI audition with Randy Jackson. So I have to wonder if he is the newest judge for the Fox singing competition. In just that one minute sneak preview, I think he is the perfect choice. Plus since he has four shows on the network and they dedicate two summer nights of programming to him, what is another show and another two nights in the winter?
Plus he is just so darn likable and he looks great naked (things I learned from watching Hotel Hell), that he is enough to get me back into the show. He is mean, but you know it is coming from the heart. And let’s be real is singing that much different from cooking? They are almost the same thing, right? One gets you into bed and the other keeps you there.
So let’s let Fox now we want Gordon Ramsay for American Idol!!!
UPDATE: On Ryan Seacrest’s radio’s website they were talking about how reality shows are changing things up and he might’ve accidentally revealed that Randy Jackson will indeed be back for season 12 even though Fox has yet to confirm it. The site said, “Mariah Carey will be joining Randy Jackson on the judge’s panel on the 12th season of American Idol. The big question still stands… who will be joining the duo? The premiere is not until January 2013 but the suspense is killing us!” If anyone would know who will be part of the Idol, it is the show’s host. So do you think he inadvertently announced that Randy will be back or someone make a mistake???
Fox is slowly turning into Gordon Ramsay’s network and I don’t have a problem with it. Tonight at 8p his fourth series on the network debuts and you will want to check into Hotel Hell. It is like Kitchen Nightmares, but for hotels instead of restaurants.
During tonight’s series premiere Gordon goes to Vermont to help out a quaint little inn that is decorated to the max. The owner and his partner have decorated the place with so many Chachkies that they think it makes their place high end. In fact they have spent so much money on all of this clutter that they can’t afford to pay the staff. Now Gordon has to show the error of their ways even though they don’t want to see it. He does something that will shock them to change their ways and you have to see what he does to believe it. You will also enjoy this show because it is interesting to see how hotels can get it so wrong and learn to get it right.
Oh and did I mention that we get to see Gordon Ramsay naked when he goes to take bath? Dang pixelation.
After Hotel Hell at 8p, Hell’s Kitchen returns after being off the air for two weeks and the show isn’t the only thing that is back tonight. Several runners up from the past seasons return to take on the final 6 black coats. Only one team can win, and because of that seven people will be sent home tonight.
Then tomorrow at 9p MasterChef is also back and the final 6 are broken up in to 2 teams and they will have to compete like they are in Hell’s Kitchen at an actual Michelin Star Restaurant. During the episode Joe Bastianich will say something so intensive that Gordan Ramsay and Graham Elliot have to scold him on it. Then later on in the episode he has to apologize for it because he was so wrong. After he says he is sorry, someone else will have to say sorry when they opt out the pressure test. Can’t say I blame that person for doing that because it is a competition show and not a place to make friends.
Gordon Ramsay’s two cooking competitions are back on Fox tonight and they are making this summer even hotter than it already is.
At 8p Hell Kitchen is serving up a new cast and they will all be getting a new ‘do. That’s because they will all have to shave their heads if they want to stay on the show. Once they are plucked the competition begins and the kitchen has never seen heat like this. It looks like the show is getting a new lease of life in its 10the season.
Then at 9p MasterChef is back with a whole new set of home cooks, and one of them you will have to see him do his magic to believe it…that’s because he is blind. Since it is the audition phase, you see a lot of delicious dishes but you don’t really get a feel for how the show will play out. But you don’t have to because you know it is going to be as yummy as the last two seasons.
