Tonight at 8p on Fox, Gordon Ramsay goes to hotel that truly is a Hotel Hell. From the outside, The Town’s Inn in Harper’s Ferry, WV is gorgeous, but on the inside it is disgusting.
The owner is completely clueless on how bad the situation really is. She is a hoarder and there is crap all over the place. She has a room full of baskets to sell to the people who stay there, and they are covered in dust and dead bugs. It gets worse. When Ramsay goes to check into his room, he has no where to put his clothes because the armoire is full of her clothes. Which is weird because she wears the same thing over and over again. Not only doesn’t he have a place to put anything away, the room has a strange odor to it. Wait until he find out what it is. That will horrify you, but not as much as unhealthy his detector discovers it to be. Plus, there is even more of a nightmare to the room, and the owner doesn’t see how much of a health hazard it is.
If it was only the rooms it would be one thing, but the restaurant is the scariest thing we have seen on any of his shows including Kitchen Nightmares. You will never believe that people ate there and survived. It is that much of a health risk.
It is such a horror and the owner is so oblivious to it all, that he decides that this hotel is beyond his help. Will he give up on it or will he decide to come back and save it?
You will just have to tune in tonight and next week to see a challenge that is so huge it even the great Gordon Ramsay can’t do anything for it.
Gordon Ramsay has met his Achilles heel and because of that doctors recommended emergency surgery on his ruptured Achilles. The Chef successfully underwent surgery to fix the tear and is on the road to recovery. Unfortunately he is down for the count and won’t be able to participate in SoccerAid and IronMan.
He also will be on bed rest until he is well enough to walk on it. Which will probably give his wife a refresher course on how to take care of a baby as the happily married couple prepare for their fifth child.
Gordon Ramsay has stayed at some hellacious hotels, but none as horrible as the one he lodged at this week. This week he made a reservation at Home-tel James Corden and it was hell on Earth for him. The CBS late night host needs to keep his night job as The Late Late Show because running a hotel out of his house is not in the cards for him. There was only one to save this Bed & Breakfast and I agree with Ramsay’s decision.
In all seriousness, Ramsay checks into a hotel on this season of Hotel Hell that it is almost as painful as this one. I am not even kidding, just wait until the second and third episodes. That’s right it’s so bad, it needs 2 episode. Make sure to watch the season premiere on May 24th on Fox.
Yesterday on Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay brought a living bison on to the show to introduce to the competing Chefs. He wanted them to see what they would be cooking for him in the challenge that day. I guess Jack knew that his cousins were killed in the name of television, so he decided to get his revenge on everyone. First the 12 year old took a massive pee and then followed it up with a ginormous poop. Thus, leading to Hell’s Kitchen smelling like hell.
Who had to clean up? The losing team who didn’t cook up his family as yummy as they deserved to be.
Poor Jack, I am sure Ramsay found him quite delicious after the impression he left on the carpet.
Late last night, Gordan Ramsay posted a photo (that has now been removed) and said, “Had a blast today with @christinatosi & @chefedwardlee on set @masterchefonfox.” So is Chef Lee replacing Graham Elliot, who announced he was leaving the reality competition cooking show back in December? An email to Fox has gone unanswered, so I don’t know. I am not sure if he is going to be a permanent judge or a guest one on the show, we will just have to wait until Fox announces what their plans for MasterChef and MasterChef Junior.
So who is Chef Edward Lee? The 43 year old Korean-American was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, but a trip to Louisville, Ky changed his life forever. The self-taught Chef bought the restaurant 601 Magnolia and added his own flavor to the place. Since then it has been featured in several highly regarded Cooking magazines. Lee is no stranger to television, he has been featured on Iron Chef, Top Chef and The Mind of a Chef.
