Jane Lynch is scared of the one thing that’s taller than her!
April 22nd, 2013 under Ellen DeGeneres, Glee, Jane Lynch. [ Comments: none ]

Jane Lynch was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and the daytime host scared her while she was showing video of the Glee actress previously being scared on the show. Part of me thinks that is really mean, but then the other part of me really enjoyed it. Because just like Ellen, I love to watch people being tortured like that.

Glee gets left back for two more years!
April 19th, 2013 under Glee. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Glee is down in the ratings and the storylines have been down too, Fox has opted to pick up the show for not one but two more seasons. Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company had this to say about the renewal, “Week in and week out, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, Dante DiLoreto and the entire GLEE team deliver a series that not only delights and surprises fans, but also inspires them to talk about, share, debate and engage with the show and I’m absolutely thrilled to have them on board for another two seasons.” I don’t remember the last time the show delighted me, do you? When it comes to talking about it, I don’t have a problem admitting that I do chat about the show. I talk with my friends how bad it has become, but yet I can’t stop watching.
Now when it comes to who will be back the next school year, they didn’t say. But am I the only one wishing they would have everyone graduate and start with a whole new class. You know kind of like what they did on Degrassi: The Next Generation when their first group of students graduated. They showed one season them in college and then we only saw them like once a season after that when they realized that splitting the show in two didn’t work. I could go with not seeing a lot of these cast members again on the show. Who do you want to see go away and graduate to another show?

Glee gets serious tonight
April 11th, 2013 under Glee. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight’s episode of Glee on Fox at 9p is called Shooting Star and the title reveals what it is about.
While the day starts out normally at McKinley High, something will happen that will change our Glee club forever. You will be left with chills all over your body as you watch what happens. It is so intense and something you have never ever seen on the show. They go to a place you never they could go to and you will be blown away. My hat is off to everyone in the cast and crew for a great 20 minutes of television.
But sadly Glee does a turn that is almost as bad as when One Tree Hill took on the same subject. Both shows handled something so excellently and then just as quickly as you praise them, you are disgusted by what they do next.
I am really conflicted about tonight’s episode. Some of it was their best work yet, but then the rest was their typical stupid over the top sh!t. The episode is part brilliant and part idiotic, and the latter ruins what could’ve earned them more Emmy noms and respect. It’s like the good parts were written by an outside source, but the inside writers couldn’t let their touch not be felt. And because of that I can only say this episode was OK, but I will still tell you to watch for the good parts because they are worth wasting an hour of your life on.

Heather Morris has something to be Gleeful about
April 3rd, 2013 under Glee. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Murphy is having a bad week; first Cory Monteith suddenly entered rehab before filming the final two eps of the season and now Heather Morris is rumored to be pregnant. According to Us Weekly a source told them she is a little over three months along with her high school sweetheart’s baby. While her pregnancy won’t change things for this season, next season it will be hard to hide. So what will Glee do? Make her smart enough to graduate and disappear. Or it has been a few years since one of her classmates was having a baby, so now is a good time for another one to come our way? I guess we will have to wait and see. That is if Fox picks up the show for another season which they didn’t do in their first round of renewals.

Cory Monteith is in rehab

Cory Monteith has entered rehab. His rep told People, that he “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” This is second time he has been in rehab for substance abuse, he also did a stay there when he was just 19 years old.
Hopefully he will get the help he needs and be back on Glee soon. But only when he is well enough to do so.
