Tonight at 8:30p on CBS, one of the Ghosts experiences sexual arousal and The Big O for the first time. Can you guess who and how?
But that is not the main plot point. We are getting a big part of Alberta’s (Danielle Pinnock) backstory.
Sam (Rose McIver) and the Ghosts listen to a podcast about a murder, and that inspires them to do one about Alberta. Sam pitches it to the local paper, which has podcasts, and he tells her she has to include Creepy Todd. Of course, she doesn’t want to include him, but her boss tells her, “No, Todd. No pod.” So, she calls Alberta’s #1 fan!
Todd rushes up to Woodstone Manor, and he brings an end table that belonged to the Jazz singer from the Roarin’ ’20s. As soon as Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) sees it, he notices a false bottom that includes Alberta’s diary. There is something in it that she doesn’t want to world to know. What is it? All I can tell you is that it is shocking.
And that is not the most shocking thing about this episode. We learn that there was a person there the night that Alberta died who we didn’t know about. Is that person the one who poisoned her?
We will just have to keep tuning into the series to find out. Well, that and Ghosts is not suffering from the sophomore slump. It continues to get better and funnier with each episode. So much goodness happens tonight; I cannot even begin to include it all, so that is why you are going to have to watch it for yourselves.
Ghosts also stars Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), Thor (Devan Chandler Long), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), and Sass (Román Zaragoza)
Ghosts was the #1 new show of last year, and that is because it was the perfect amount of humor, naughtiness, and heart! So you have to wonder will it be as good for its second season, or will it suffer the sophomore slump? I am happy to tell you it is as funny and endearing as ever.
Tonight at 8:30p (its new timeslot) on CBS, Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) and Samantha (Rose McIver) welcome their first guests at their just-opened B&B. However, unlike in the season finale, the couple doesn’t fall through the floor and hurt themselves. In fact, we find out what happened to them. Jay bumped his head really hard. Was it hard enough for him to see the Ghosts like his wife?
Back to the Ghosts. Sam and Jay tell Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), Thor (Devan Chandler Long), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), and Sass (Román Zaragoza) that they have to be on their best behavior when the guests get there.
However, it is the livings who have to be on their best behavior because the guests are the type of people who thrive on giving bad Yelp reviews. Can Sam and Jay win them over, or will the Bed & Breakfast be doomed before they even get a second guest?
You will have to tune in to find out on the show that everyone should be watching because it is what we have been longing for, a show that is enjoyable to watch and doesn’t make you feel like you have an incurable illness. But if you did, then maybe you can move with Sam, Jay, and the Ghosts! Win/win!!!
Ghosts is back on CBS for its second season on Thursday, September 29th at 8:30p. I have seen the first four episodes, and they are funny and all like last year. But there is one thing missing. What is it? We need them to sing in Woodstone Manor.
We know that Danielle Pinnock can sing like her character Alberta. And now we know she is not the only one with a gorgeous voice. Román Zaragoza and John Hartman make beautiful music together when they harmonize to The Beatles’ In My Life.
While writing this post, I imagined how they could do it. So I am going to telepathically send my idea to the producers so they will do it.
Who doesn’t want to see the Ghosts from different eras singing and dancing for at least one episode? Although they will probably have to tape down Asher Grodman’s shirt so he doesn’t expose too much.
Richie Moriarty plays Arrow Guy on Ghosts. Pete has that nickname because the scout leader died when one of his scouts accidentally shot him with an arrow in the neck during an archery lesson.
You would think if that happened to your character, you would avoid anything coming close to that happening to yourself. However, Moriarty doesn’t think like us because he let his son, Devlin, learn how to use a bow and arrow in Colorado.
The actor is a much braver man than I am. And hopefully, his son will never accidentally lose control of his arrow around his dad.
Mainly because this is all about me, and I love his character on the sitcom. So I don’t want anything to happen to him in real life, like what happened to him on Ghosts.
On that note, Ghosts will be back on CBS with all-new funny and touching episodes on September 29th at its new time at 8:30p.
We are less than three months away from the start of the Fall TV season But we don’t have to wait that long to find out when our favorite CBS shows will be back with all-new episodes. That is because the Eye network released their premiere dates today, and I don’t want to wait until September 29th to find out what my favorite Ghosts have been up to. That is too long of a hiatus, and they might be reincarnated by then.
