Jon Lajoie talks about The League that premiere on FX tonight
October 29th, 2009 under FX. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight on FX at 10:30p The League is going to premiere and I can’t believe I’m saying this but a show about a Fantasy Football League is one of the funniest and raunchiest shows I have seen in a long time. The League is a guy guy’s show that even women will enjoy!
The League is about five guy friends who are in a Fantasy Football League together and all the crap that goes on in their lives. Three of them of married, one who gets it whenever he wants and one who never does. They are how I vision what guys are like when they get together. They are crude, rude, pick on each other, and at the end of the day they are best friends. When I say crude and rude, I mean it. You will not believe some of the sh!t they do. In the first two episodes Taco sings a NSFW birthday song to a 5 year about how her parents made her, Andre finds out that his first joint was full of pubes and not weed and someone tries to smoke his pubes to see if he can get high off of them like Andre did, Kevin watches porn while he works out, Ruxin hasn’t gotten any because his wife hasn’t wanted to have sex since she had their baby so he gets off watching the Bouncy bra test and Pete has an uncomfortable sexual experience. We will also add two new phrases to our vocabulary, Eskimo Brothers and Vaginal Hubris but you will have to watch the show to find out what they mean. All of this hilarity happened in the first two episodes, and I can’t see what else they do because I know it is going to be wrong and it is going make me laugh!
Some of the biggest laughs I got from the show were because of Jon Lajoie who plays Taco and I spoke to him at the premiere last night. He told me about his character and if he knows how Taco his got him name. You will have to watch the interview above for those answers. I also had to find out if we will get the full version of his birthday song that he sang on tonight’s episode and he told me we eventually will. It just won’t be on the show because it is too dirty to air on network of cable TV! And here is a little fact he shared with me, he wrote the song and you can hear some of the other ingenious songs he came up with on the Jon Lajoie website! I have been hysterics all day listening to his album! So what other hysterics are we going to get from him this season? He told me he is going to dress up as a big stuffed up animal to scare his niece with a clever, got to China Town to buy 3 penis wine because it will improve virility and he’ll take a job at Volkswagen because he thinks 92% of women who drive Jettas are hot. I can’t wait to see all those hijinxs on The League that will quickly become your favorite show on TV!
So check out The League tonight and every Thursday at 10:30p for a show that is a touchdown in the humor department! FX has found a show that is the perfect fit to be paired with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia that airs at 10p on Thursdays!

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
September 17th, 2009 under FX. [ Comments: none ]

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back on FX tonight at 10p and boy is it back!!! If you have never seen this show that is so wrong, now is the right time to start! It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is about 4 friends who own a bar and along with Danny DeVito are just horrible people doing awful things but they are just too dumb to realize it and it is just so much fun to watch.
I have to admit the last 2 seasons kind of lost the feeling of the first two, but this new season is back to being as bad as it originally was and that is a very good thing. In the first four episodes the gang will buy foreclosed houses to sell, take a trip outside of Philadelphia, do an intervention for Danny DeVito and have sex with a woman whose husband just died. Might not sound that bad, but when you watch the show you will see just how awful they are. We all secretly want to be bad and do horrible things, but we have a conscience that the gang on Philly don’t and that is what I love about this show and you will too when you watch it.
On a side note related to the show, remember that interview a few months ago where Danny DeVito was being interviewed by a Philadelphia reporter and everyone thought he was and he said he was in character? Well on the third episode you will see that he wasn’t joking, that was the intervention episode. So I think that can give you a hint how truly birlliant this show it. So check it out tonight and every Thursday at 10p on FX, for a show you will feel guilty watching and that is OK!!!

I’ve had it with these Mother F*cking censors on this MoFo TV
April 21st, 2009 under American Idol 8, FX. [ Comments: 1 ]

via Dlisted
So Snakes on a Plane aired on broadcast TV and as you can tell FX edited the famous line for “I’ve had it with these Mother Fucking snakes on this Mother Fucking plane” to “I Have Had It With These Monkey Fightin’ Snakes On This Monday To Friday Plane!” Seriously that was the worst fix since I got your nose instead of penis from the infamous Porky’s shower scene. Isn’t FX the network that has cursing on shows like Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck and now all of sudden they are afraid of the phrase MoFo. That line made the movie, this new line leaves me speechless.
And this wasn’t the only crazy thing that Fox Broadcasting censored last week, they also wouldn’t let the title of Quentin Tarantino’s movie air on the “family show” American Idol. Here is how AI producer Ken Warwick told USA Today it all went down.

2:05 p.m. Warwick is in an editing room back in the production office watching the packages of Tarantino with each singer. There’s still no final decision on the other Tarantino package that had caused a stir with Fox (a shorter version eventually runs). Now, there’s another issue, but it’s easily resolved: When Idol mentions Tarantino’s upcoming war film, it won’t specify the title: Inglourious Basterds. “Family show,” Warwick says.

Wait when did Basterds become such a bad word on Fox? I love Bones, but have you seen some of the corpses they are showing now? C’mon these censors need a good fuck and get over words like Mother Fucker and Basterds.
OK I am done ranting now, so I will leave you with the song Bring It from Snakes on a Plane…

Damages is back on FX tonight
January 7th, 2009 under FX, Glenn Close. [ Comments: none ]

The series follows the turbulent lives of Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), the nation’s most revered and reviled high-stakes litigator and her bright, ambitious young protégé Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne).
After her unprecedented victory over billionaire Arthur Frobisher (Ted Danson), Patty Hewes has the legal world at her feet. Just as she’s pondering her next move, Daniel Purcell (William Hurt), a man from Patty’s mysterious past, storms back into her life, catapulting Patty into a new legal challenge. What starts as a domestic murder case, escalates into the highest reaches of government as Patty unearths a vast conspiracy.
At the same time, Ellen is on a mission to take down Patty. She’s agreed to act as an informant for the FBI, assisting them in their criminal investigation of Patty and the firm. As Patty unravels the mystery surrounding Daniel Purcell, she must also negotiate the perilous minefield both inside and outside her office.

Damages is back on FX tonight at 10p and this season is so good! This season changes things up, but keeps with the brilliant acting, writing and great chemistry. Ellen is seeking revenge on Patty for killing her fiance, but by the interactions she has with her you would never know it. The question of whether or not Ted Danson would be back is answered with a yes. But wait until you see what has happened to him. Now that she has won her case against him, Patty needs a new big client and that person is played by Oscar winner William Hurt. To describe his character as pure evil, might be a nice way of putting it nicely.
I so can’t wait to see how this season unfolds because if is anything like last each episode will leave us wanting more and the finale will leave satisfied, but hungry for the next one!!! So watch it all unfold tonight and every Tuesday at 10p on FX!!!

Testees premieres on FX tonight
October 9th, 2008 under FX. [ Comments: none ]

Testees is a half-hour comedy from Kenny Hotz (creator of Kenny vs. Spenny) about two best friends and roommates who make a living as guinea pigs for “Testico,” a drug and product testing facility. In each episode, the guys just try to live their lives while dealing with the often surprising side effects and highly unusual occupational hazards.

Testees is one of the weirdest shows I have ever seen and I think I kind of liked it. In the pilot episode one of the Testees uses a spray that makes his peepee grow and it gets so big that when he gets an erection he passes out! Then another guy is injected with something that makes him pregnant, wait until you see the birthing scene. Let’s say I have never seen anything like it before.
Testees is a show you have to see to believe it and I suggest seeing it tonight when it premieres on FX tonight at 10:30p after It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Too much wrongness for one hour, but it so right!!!
