Sarah Michelle Gellar has yet to confirm that she is pregnant with her second child, so it looks like her belly is doing it for us. Buffy was seen out and about in a flowing white shirt, but it was not able to hide what appears to be her growing belly. By the looks of it she doesn’t mind because that is the happiest I have ever seen her. Not only is she smiling, she is also glowing. And isn’t glowing the sign of something like she’s pregnant?
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr are expecting their second child. A friend of the couple confirmed the news to Us Weekly. The rarely seen together couple started dating almost 15 years ago and will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary around the time their second child is due. They already a have a two and a half year daughter named Charlotte.
I wonder if Gellar’s pregnancy will hurt Ringer’s chances for a second season. Although one of the sister’s is supposed to be pregnant, so it is conceivable they could get away with a baby bump, but will they want to pause production for her maternity leave?
UPDATE: Just finally got around to watching the finale, Sibohan is no longer pregnant so Sarah Michelle’s real life pregnancy can complicate things if the show is brought back for season 2.
Before Sarah Michelle Gellar played herself and her twin in Ringer, she was just one little girl in An Invasion of Privacy! How awwwdorable was the 5 year old actress in that 1983 movie.
Ringer, the first new show of the fall debuts tonight on The CW at 9p and it is as twice as good as the other new shows! I say that because Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to TV as not one, but two characters. The Buffy actress plays Bridget Kelly and Siobhan Marti, two sisters who have chosen different life paths. One the life of luxury, the other the life of an alcoholic who is trying to clean up her act. When Bridget witnesses a murder and finds the mob after her, she gets in contact with her long lost sister. Siobhan is happily married living the life Bridget wishes she was living. Once the two sisters finally meet up, one will go missing and the other will be living her life and finding out things are not always as they appear. There are a lot of twist and turns in the pilot with a shocking ending that will have you instantly hooked to the show.
This pilot was originally shot for CBS, so it feels a little older than it should be. I can’t wait to see what The CW does with it because it is a much better fit for this mysterious drama!
Just like Josh Duhamel, Carol Burnett and David Canary, Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to All My Children one last time. The star of the upcoming critically acclaimed show Ringer shared the news with reporters today at The CW TCA Summer press tour day. She said, “When I heard that the show was cancelled I didn’t understand. It just doesn’t make sense to me. So, I called Judy Wilson, who is the casting director and has been since I was there, and I said I wanted to do something. I was very specific, I don’t want to be Kendall that’s Alicia’s role. But I just wanted to be a part of it. I have no idea what I’m going to do, so we can take suggestions, but I will be doing one day. I’m excited.†I really respect her for not asking to reprise Kendall because another actress is doing the role she portrayed from 2003-2005. Like her I am curious what she will be doing when the show says goodbye to ABC in September.
I am also excited for her new show Ringer that will everyone addicted from episode one when it premieres on The CW September 13th!
