Zoeey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt sang What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve? together and who else is hoping that they are doing each other? And there might be something there because here is what the New Girl wrote on her site, “I have known Joe Gordon-Levitt for going on 12 years. We first met in the summer of 2000 while doing a tiny movie called Manic, where we bonded over a mutual appreciation for Harry Nilsson and Nina Simone and I have been lucky enough to call him one of my dearest friends ever since. When we did 500 Days of Summer 8 years later, we spent every lunch hour dancing to Marvin Gaye in the hair and make up trailer; we had loads of fun. I hope to do a thousand more movies with him because he’s simply the best.” Sounds like there might be something more there? They would be adorkable together, so let’s hope they kiss at midnight on NYE…and every day after that!!!
Fox has a new comedy debuting at 9:30p tonight and it’s called I Hate My Teenage Daughter. Jamie Pressly and Katie Finneran play long-time friends and recently divorced moms who are raising their teenage daughters together in one house. And having a been a teenage girl, I get the premise of the title and the show. There will be a lot of conflicts between the moms and the girls and the elders will get the revenge as only they can on their offspring in this funny show. And next week is a lot of fun when they have family night with their exes and they will learn why those nights stop once the divorce papers are signed. So tune in for a show that any mother and her teenage daughter can understand.
Tonight at 8p on Fox Ice Age gets it’s first Christmas special and I really hope that Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas is not its last one.
Since Ice Age takes place in prehistoric times, not everything we know about Christmas has happened so they will be making it up as they go along. One of the big additions to their holiday season, is when Manny introduces the “Naughty List” and that will cause a lot of problems for everyone who thinks that they are the list. Sid and Peaches don’t think they will get anything from Santa, so they head to the North Pole to see if they could get on the nice list. Manny, Ellie and Diego go after them and almost ruin Christmas for everyone when they finally all meet up. Will they be able to save Christmas for the world to enjoy or will they be on the Naughty List forever?
Tune into this soon-to-be annual Christmas staple because it is a show that everyone can enjoy. So whether you are gobbling down on your turkey or you stuffed like one make sure to make room for this delightful special tonight at 8p on Fox!!!
Last week Peter returned to Fringe, and tonight at 9p on Fox it seems that there are ramifications for his reappearance.
In the last 72 there have 65 time lapses that revert to what happened 4 years ago in today’s world. Is it Peter’s fault or is there something/some else causing it? They have to work quickly to find the cause before several people die trapped in a underwater tunnel that didn’t exist in 2007. Only problem is Walter won’t talk to Peter, and that makes things worse when they try to come to solution.
Tonight’s episode brings the show back to what it was before all of the two worlds bull. I know I am in the minority, but I like the show when it is about Fringe cases and not what it has been for the last year and a half.
Tonight at 9p on Fox Peter Bishop is finally back on Fringe and the only problem is that no one remembers him. Will he be able to get Walter, his own father, to remember him or will he remain an unknown man in all of their lives? Tune in tonight to find out.
I could also tell you there is a new type of shape shifter in the world, but you wouldn’t care because you are as happy as I am that Joshua Jackson is back on the show! And having him back on the show gets the show right back on track!!!
