ABC recently announced that they are doing a Celebrity Diving show that will debut in March and today Fox announced they are doing the same. On January 9th Stars in Danger: The High Dive is going to debut and after reading the names that are involved you are rooting for danger. The celebs putting on their bathing suits for the camera are J-Wowww, Bethany Hamilton, Kim and Kyle Richards, Alexandra Paul, David Chokachi, Terrell Owens and Antonio Sabato Jr.
Hopefully ABC will have better names! And yes I will be watching both shows because I am definitely curious about them. Will you be checking out both of them?
There were three new shows from the fall season waiting to find out if their networks will ask for some additional episodes beyond their original order and today they found out. Over at Fox they finally confirmed that The Mob Doctor will be swimming with the fishes after it airs all of its episodes. The CW pulled the plug on Emily Owens, M.D., but all 13 episodes will air on the network. While The Mob Doctor deserved its fate, I am sad that Owens was cancelled because the show finally found its way in the last few weeks.
While it was a bad day for medical dramas the news was a little bit better for Malibu Country because ABC wants 5 more episodes from the sitcom starring Reba. The network also asked for the same of Last Man Standing. When it comes to LMS, tell me I am not the only one who wants them to bring back the original eldest daughter because the new one has ruined the show. I thought recasts were supposed to make the show better not worse.
Tonight at 8p The Mob Doctor is back on Fox and it is an episode with a lot of heart. Grace’s (Jordana Spiro) patient desperately needs a new heart, but as soon as one becomes available an infection causes her to miss on it. So now she has days to find a new heart, but they just don’t drop out of the sky. That is until a prisoner contacts Grace and tells her he wants to die and give his heart to his daughter, her patient. The young woman wants nothing to do with her dad, and she especially doesn’t want his heart. But with her life on the line, will she change her mind? You will have to tune in for this heart wrenching episode to find out.
Then at 9p it is time for Bones and the highest pitch scream the show has ever experienced. A skinned woman is found in a recycle bin and now they have to figure out what and who killed her. But the bigger story is Sweets moves in with Bones and Booth and they just can’t rid him. Will that work out or will they be looking into his murder? You have to watch to find out. Make sure to watch it all the way until the end for a really cute ending!
Tonight at 8p on Fox Gordon Ramsay goes to Salem, Massachusetts to help one of his scariest Kitchen Nightmares so far. La Galleria 33 is owned by two sisters who thought they could open a restaurant because their parents have one across the street. Well they are wrong and they desperately need Gordon’s help. Only problem is they really don’t want to hear what he has to say even though as usual he is right. Their food is so bad the staff tries to warn the costumers about it. The once fired bus boy acts like he manager and the owners refuses to fire him again. Then there is the kitchen staff that think it is OK to serve food that fell on the floor. When Gordon tells the owners about it, they don’t see anything wrong about that. Seriously it is more shocking to watch then to read about. By the end of the night, Gordon has had it with these sisters and we won’t know what happens next because that part airs next week. When you see how delusional these sisters are about their restaurant, you will understand why the season premiere has to be a two parter.
Then at 9p on Fringe, Walter thinks he knows where the secret to save the world is hidden after they uncover a new tape in the amber. Peter, Olivia and Etta will risk their lives to go where he thinks it might be. On the way they will hook up with Agent Broyles and we find out a secret about him. Then by the episode someone’s name who I mentioned above will not make it to the series finale. That’s right someone dies and be prepared to have your heartbreak even more than it did when you found out this will be the Fox show’s final season. Fringe is definitely going out with a bang and tonight’s episode is strong the from beginning until the end.
Fox announced their midseason premiere dates today and looks like they finally put The Mob Doctor out of our misery. On Monday January 21st Kevin Williamson’s The Following starring Kevin Bacon will take over TMD’s slot. It appears the comedies will remain as is on Tuesday. Wednesday, January 16th American Idol is back with the three new judges we have been hearing all about. It seems like on Thursday Idol will start off the night and Glee will end it. Finally on Friday the 8p is open for what I am assuming is a some sort of Gordon Ramsay show and on February 1st Kiefer Sutherland’s show Touch takes over for the departing Fringe. So I guess there is no slot available left for The Mob Doctor and I doubt anyone is surprised by that news. I mean it is amazing the show is still on the air because it has needed to have been whacked for a while!
The Mob Doctor joins CBS’s Made In Jersey and NBC’s Animal Practice with cement blocks at the bottom of the ocean of fall’s new cancelled shows. C’mon ABC it is your turn to make a movie. It’s OK to do so already!
