Today is June 1st, and the start of Pride Month. In honor of its LGBTQ+ and ally customers, Habit Burger is selling a Rainbow Shake.
The shake features vanilla ice cream blended with rainbow cereal, strawberry, and passionfruit purees, blue raspberry syrup and finished with whipped cream sprinkled with crunchy rainbow cereal.
And instead of a cherry on top, they are donating $1 (up to $50,000) from every shake sold to It Gets Better.
I don’t know if it is because Fruity Pebbles is my favorite cereal, but that shake looks so freaking delicious! And at $5.39, I am sure I will be helping Habit Burger donate a lot of money to It Gets Better. As long as I forget that I am lactose intolerant.
Taco Bell is making its fans happy because they are bringing back the Enchirito. However, it is only for a limited time.
The Enchirito was introduced in 1970 and pulled from the menu in 2013. Since then, fans have been wanting it back. So last year, when the Mexican fast food giant asked which item they should bring back, the hungry fans said the Enchirito.
If you are not familiar with it, it is seasoned beef, refried beans, and onions wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla that is covered with cheddar cheese and red sauce.
So if you want one, don’t run to the border; run to Taco Bell, which will make you run for the border.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to theaters on June 2nd, and Burger King wants in on the action. So they created a Whopper just for the occasion.
How is it different than the Whooper that hasn’t been bitten by a radioactive spider? This one comes with a red bun with black sesame seeds, just like a certain superhero’s costume.
That is not the only thing BK is doing in honor of the film’s release. They also created a soft-serve sundae covered with red and black chocolate popping candy.
I will try the dessert, but I am going to avoid the burger. Remember when the fast food giant came up with a Halloween Whopper and the black bun was turning people’s poop green? I don’t want to have webs coming out of my butt.
Have you ever craved Wendy’s Chili but didn’t want to drive to pick it up? Well, you won’t have to anymore. That is because Conagra Brands partnered with Wendy’s to bring their chili to a store near you.
“Wendy’s Chili has been a beloved menu item since our beginnings in 1969,” said Carl Loredo, Global Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company. “We’re thrilled about the partnership with Conagra Brands and to have the opportunity to bring our brand’s iconic chili flavor to even more fans. When the Wendy’s chili craving hits, you now have two delicious ways to get your fix – at retail stores or in our restaurants.”
Wendy’s Chili with Beans will be available this Spring and retail for $4.99 a can. At that price, I think I will drive to the fast food restaurant.
File this under what took them so long. Today McDonald’s announced that they will be selling Big Mac sauce cups for a limited time starting on April 27th.
You can either get it for free when you order chicken McNuggets or pay to get it à la carte to dip your fries or anything else in. However, you can only order it via the app.
The dipping sauce cups are blue and silver in honor of the original wrapping the famous hamburger came in when it was introduced in 1968.
I hope this does so well that McDonald’s makes this a permanent option. After all, they owe us for taking away the McRib. I am still pissed about that.
