Actor Scott Foley, star of the CBS show "The Unit," has gotten engaged. Foley recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend, actress Marika Dominczyk, his publicist said Monday. The couple met on the set of the sitcom "The Help." Foley, 34, was a regular on teen-romance shows, including "Dawson’s Creek" and "Felicity." He was previously married to Jennifer Garner. The couple divorced in 2004. It will be the first marriage for Dominczyk, 26. She has appeared on ABC’s "Brothers & Sisters" and NBC’s now-canceled show "Heist."

 Kate Moss arrived back from a romantic trip to Italy with Pete Doherty wearing a ring on her wedding finger. The picture captured at Heathrow fuelled speculation that the couple are engaged. However, it later appeared that the supermodel, 32, wanted to keep the ring under wraps as she concealed her hand under the sleeve of her jumper as she left her London home. Moss joined Doherty, 27, in Italy where his band Babyshambles are performing. They were pictured together looking in a jewellery shop over the weekend where Moss was shown a ring by a shop assistant. It was also reported that Moss is expecting his baby. Doherty’s uncle, Phil Michels, 57, said: "He has confirmed Kate is pregnant." But despite wedding and baby plans, it appears Pete is still not quite ready to pack up his bad-boy ways. Pictures of him cuddling up to Italian female fans have appeared – one showing the rocker apparently kissing a fan on the lips. While the Kate’s away…

Desperate Housewives actor Dougray Scott is engaged to actress Claire Forlani, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Scott proposed to Forlani last month in Los Angeles. "It was very romantic," Scott, who presented Forlani with a ring he designed, tells PEOPLE. "I feel so lucky to have met her. She’s an amazing actress and human being. I’m very happy." The couple met 10 months ago through a mutual friend. Rumors of a romance between Scott, 40, and Forlani, 35, have been swirling since the summer. In July, they shared a romantic dinner at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont, and they also had been spotted holding hands on the Universal Studios lot.

 Singer Aaron Carter is engaged to Playboy Playmate Kari Ann Peniche, the bride-to-be confirms to PEOPLE. "I’m very excited about it," Peniche tells PEOPLE. "Aaron is the most genuine person I know. He’s kind, loving, and I love him so much." Carter, 18, popped the question to Peniche (who previously dated Aaron’s brother Nick) on Saturday in Las Vegas while they were onstage in front of 200 people during the Playboy Comedy Tour at the Palms Casino Resort. "I don’t remember it happening. It was such a blur," says Peniche about the surprise proposal. "I had no idea he was going to do this, but I’m glad he did." The couple, who plan to wed in the next six months, hugged and kissed after Peniche accepted the proposal, Playboy tour producer and comedian Cort McCown tells PEOPLE. "He said he was going to do it, but we thought he was kidding," said McCown. "He was really nervous." Peniche, 22, was named Miss Teen USA in 2003, but was stripped of her title after posing for Playboy. Carter is set to appear on an E! reality show about his family, House of Carters, premiering next month.

 Actress Brande Roderick is set to wed former Denver Bronco Glenn Cadrez, her rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. Cadrez, 36, proposed on Sunday in front of more than 30,000 spectators at the Del Mar Classic horse race in Del Mar, Calif., where Roderick, 32, was on hand to present the prize to the winner. He got down on one knee and presented her with a three-carat diamond ring he’d designed himself. Roderick, a native of Novato, Calif., played Leigh Dyer on TV’s Baywatch from 2000 to 2001. She also appeared in 2004’s Starsky & Hutch and will be seen in next year’s The Nanny Diaries with Scarlett Johansson. A former Playboy model, she previously dated Hugh Hefner. Cadrez retired from the NFL after playing 11 seasons as a linebacker for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. Vice president of California Police Youth Charities, he’s now involved in movie production and event planning. He has three daughters.
