Ed Sheeran reworked his love song Perfect by turning it into a duet with Beyonce. You would think that having two of today’s hottest singers collaborate it would be pure perfection, but I don’t think her voice works with his. He needed someone more like Kelly Clarkson or Adele for the duet. What do you think?
BTW I am not bashing Beyonce, I am just saying her voice does not mesh well with Sheeran’s.
Ed Sheeran posed like he was at the prom with his date, but he did it with his friend Kevin. Therefore, do the two men have something to tell us? He says that this is their, “engagement photo.” Of course, he was joking. I think. It is hard to tell by his face.
Then what does he have to tell us? He is finally back on stage tonight after “breaking both ma arms” last month. I am so happy he was cleared to play again because his music is something we cannot lose.
Hopefully, he played Bibia Be Ye Ye for the Signapore audience. It is my favorite song on Divide.
Ed Sheeran has several songs that are perfect to play for the first dance at a wedding, and now he has one that is perfect to play when a couple is getting engaged. With a perfect music video to go with a song that is about the perfect romance. What is the name of that perfect song? Perfect of course!!!
On Monday, Ed Sheeran reportedly was hit by a car while he was riding his bike and he fractured his right wrist and left elbow. Up until now, he has only shown pictures from the neck down. Yesterday, he went to the Q Awards and we got to see what he looks with his new cast and sling. The first thing I thought of when I saw this photo, was poor guy. Then the next thing I wondered is how is he going to play with his instrument while he recuperates. And I am not talking about the one with strings. Tell me I am not the only who thought that.
On Monday morning, Ed Sheeran was reportedly hit by a car as he was riding his bike, and he injured both of his arms. Yesterday, he revealed just how bad his injuries are on social media. The singer said, “A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details.” Then his typer typed, “PS – Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.”
The next gig schedules after the cancelled ones is November 7th, and I doubt he will make it. I had 3 broken arms, at separate times, and they each took over 4 weeks to heal. Plus, I feel for him because he broke both his arms at the same time, so he is going to have a hard time doing a lot of things by himself.
Hopefully, something positive will come out of this. Like we will get a new album because we have been playing Divide so much, it feels older than it is. Which is a good thing.
