Drew Barrymore got a one-of-a-kind birthday present. Madame Tussauds announced that she was getting her own wax figure at the famed museum in New York Today.
Today, Ross Matthews had a surprise for his boss on CBS’s The Drew Barrymore Show: the reveal of her lifesize candle!
What does the beloved actress think of her wax clone? She loves it! And why shouldn’t she? It looks like her when she walks the red carpet.
Here is a fun fact: that was the dress she was wearing when they told her she was getting her statue on her birthday in February. So you can say that Drew is wearing her birthday suit at Madame Tussauds because she is!
Kate McKinnon is on The Drew Barrymore Show tomorrow morning, and it is an embarrassing episode for her. Not because of something she did. Instead, it is because she shares her most embarrassing moment on a set.
Believe it or not, it happened on the set of Ghostbusters, which was embarrassing enough. But something even more embarrassing happened. What was it? The actress said, “It was on the set of ‘Ghostbusters.’ I was sitting between Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig and they were rolling and I farted. It was audible and everyone had to stop filming because everyone was so surprised, so surprised that I had let it happen.”
I am surprised they didn’t keep it in! Now, that would have been funny.
We are 18 days away from the fifth season premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show. However, CBS is not waiting until the next year to pick up the Daytime Talk Show for another season.
“Drew is a one-of-a-kind talent who is an integral part of the CBS and Paramount family,” Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures, said. “This early renewal and upgrades are a testament to our commitment to THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW and its loyal audience, who tune in every day to see Drew’s warmth, inquisitiveness and spontaneity.”
Today, on the Drew Barrymore Show, Drew and Ross Matthews talked about colonoscopies.
If you asked most people about getting one, they would be like it is awful and they despise getting them.
Not the host. “I do love a colonoscopy, guys,” she excitedly told the audience. “You get to clean out. You get to be put out. And hopefully, you wake up to good news. Like, that’s my kind of date.”
Her co-host was left dumbfounded and declared, “She is so weird.” I am not going to argue with him on this declaration because it is spot on.
I have never met anyone who loved getting one. Have you?
When most men are done having sex for the first time with someone special, they don’t say the right thing.
But Ted Danson is not like most men. He told Drew Barrymore on her talk show that he screamed out, “Gosh-a-roni!” after the first time he had sex with his future wife.
After he said that, Mary Steenburgen knew he was the one. And they are still together 30 years later!
So much so that now they do something different in bed. If one of them has a 6 a.m. call time, they both wake up at 4:30 a.m. to drink two cups of coffee and play Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connection—not against each other, but with each other.
If that doesn’t say love, I don’t know what does. And now, they are my relationship goals. Gosh-a-roni!
