What is the one thing that Vanna White and Pat Sajak fought over?
January 26th, 2021 under Drew Barrymore, Wheel of Fortune. [ Comments: none ]

Vanna White and Pat Sajak have been working together on Wheel of Fortune for 38 years. In all of that time, they have had one fight.

Today when the letter turner was on The Drew Berrymore Show, she told the host what it was over. White likes to put ketchup on her hot dogs. Sajak called her out on that being gross. I side with Sajak and Barrymore on this issue. Ketchup has no place on a hot dog. That place belongs to mustard and sauerkraut. As you can tell, I am a New Yorker, and that is how we eat our frankfurters.

Seriously, could you imagine only having only one fight with someone in 38 years. I already fought with my cat twice in 38 minutes. Make that three times.

Should Adam Sandler do a movie with Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Aniston?
October 26th, 2020 under Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Sandler’s two leading are Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Aniston. Recently, Twitter debated who he should have his 51st first date with. Today, when the wedding singer was on Drew’s daytime talk show, they talked about that.

Of course, he said he liked them both equally. Then Drew suggested that the three of them do a movie with the actresses riding off into the sunset without him. I say they should do it. What about you?

They can play his ex-wives, and they are reuniting for his third wedding. The two of them hate him so much, and they are out to destroy. Only to find out they are both still in love with him. Then the two of them fight over him, and the third wife-to-be is caught in the middle of all of the mayhem. Until there is only one winner, Sandler’s fourth wife-to-be. Now all three of them would rather go to his funeral rather than his wedding. They can call it Four Weddings and Funeral. Isn’t that an awesome title for a movie? Never been done!

When it comes to who should be the ultimate winner, Drew hands down! Who doesn’t love her more than Aniston? Besides her friends, of course.

Henry Winkler reveals how lonely he felt on the set of The Mary Tyler Moore Show
October 15th, 2020 under Drew Barrymore, Henry Winkler. [ Comments: none ]

If you ask anyone who is the nicest star in Hollywood, then they will tell you it is Henry Winkler. However, he told Drew Barrymore on her show today that during his first role, he was surrounded by actors who were not to nice to him.

Winkler made his professional acting debut on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He played Rhoda’s date at one of Mary’s failed dinner parties. Since no was expecting him to be there, he sat at his only little table. They say that art mimics life, and it did for him.

“I had four lines on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show,’ which was the ‘Friends’ of its time. And they said, ‘Lunch,’ and all these big stars they all went to lunch, and I was just in the middle of the soundstage, and I had no idea where to go, no one had told me,” the actor said. “I felt really alone, and I swore I would never let anybody on a set I was on feel that way ever again. No matter what show I do, if there is a guest, I take that guest man or woman by the hand and show them where they can get anything done during the day.”

That is why, everyone but Tom Hanks, loves him. He is so caring and warm, and I am grateful I experienced his kindness firsthand on my first job in Hollywood. When you look at him, you cannot help but to feel joy. It radiates off of him, and you feel encapsulated by it. I don’t know how better to describe it, but he is someone you have to meet to understand what a kind-hearted soul he is. He was one of the biggest stars in the ’70s and ’80s, but he does not act like he is better than anyone, no matter how low down they are on the totem pole.

We need more stars like him. There are a few like Drew Barrymore, Jerry O’Connell, Sean Astin, and Kal Penn, but we need more of them.

Drew Barrymore to reunite with her Charlie’s Angels co-stars on her talk show

Drew Barrymore’s daytime talk show debuts Monday on CBS, and she has some star-studded guests for her first week. She is starting it off by being reunited with her two other Angels, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz. Then she will have a 51st first date with Adam Sandler.

Her premiere week continues with Reese Witherspoon, Billy Eichner, Jane Fonda, Gabrielle Union, Christian Siriano, Charlize Theron, and Tyra Banks. She saves the best for last because she will virtually pose with Billy Porter.

Not a bad first week. You can say she is a Firestarter. Get it? The second week will be even more interesting. That is when the host has used up all of her favors, and the bookers have to do all the work from then on. Although, with a name like Drew Barrymore, how hard could it be to book her show?

Drew Barrymore is talking to herself
July 30th, 2020 under Drew Barrymore. [ Comments: none ]

Drew Barrymore has a talk show coming out on September 14th, and she is already practicing how to interview her guests. It is much different being an interviewer as compared to an interviewee.

However, for Drew, I think it will be the same. Here she is interviewing her 7-year-old self when she was on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in 1982. Even though it has been 38 years since she talked about starring in ET: The Extra-Terrestrial, she is still just as cute.

That is why I can’t wait to see what she does with The Drew Barrymore Show.
