Kim Basinger finds out tomorrow if she will go to jail? |

Oscar winner Kim Basinger is due in court tomorrow to answer 12 contempt of court charges, and faces a 60-day jail sentence and $12,000 fine if she’s found guilty. The L.A. Confidential star is accused by ex-husband Alec Baldwin of breaching a 2004 custody agreement laying down who should look after their 11-year-old daughter, Ireland. Baldwin alleges Basinger failed to tell him she’d be out of town, not giving him an opportunity to care for their daughter. He also claims Basinger failed to inform him of an injury Ireland suffered which needed medical attention. Court papers filed by Baldwin’s lawyer allege Basinger has a "pathological need" to distance Ireland from her father, with one section claiming, "Over and over, Ms. Basinger demonstrated that her resentments are more precious to her than the emotional well-being of her child." The Los Angeles Superior Court has yet to consider the content of the papers.

It seems like these two are putting their divorce ahead of Ireland, which is sad.

Personal foul for Michael Jordan’s marriage |
December 29th, 2006 under Divorce. [ Comments: none ]

Michael Jordan and his wife, Juanita, filed for divorce Friday after 17 years of marriage. "Michael and Juanita Jordan mutually and amicably decided to end their 17 year marriage," the couple said in a statement issued through their lawyers. "A judgment for dissolution of their marriage was entered today. There will be no further statements." Juanita Jordan previously filed for divorce in January 2002, but withdrew her petition a month later when the couple announced they were attempting a reconciliation. During her last divorce petition, Jordan said attempts to reconcile their marriage had failed and future ones "would be impractical and not in the best interests of the family." The couple met at a Chicago restaurant during his second season with the Bulls and were married Sept. 2, 1989, in Las Vegas. They have three children: Jeffrey, Marcus and Jasmine. The 43-year-old Jordan, a part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, led the Bulls to six NBA titles and was a five-time league MVP. He lives in Highland Park, Ill.

Chad Michael Murray finally free to marry his teenage girlfriend |

Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush can now legally move on with their lives, and so can "One Tree Hill" fans. The divorce between the CW co-stars is now final, reports People. According to court documents, both sides waived spousal support. They have no children together. # ‘One Tree Hill’ Showcard Bush, 24, and Murray, 25, began their romance on the set of their first season of the WB (now CW) drama "One Tree Hill," on which Bush plays cheerleader Brooke Davis, and Murray plays the brooding Lucas Scott. They wed in a seaside ceremony at the Casa del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif., in April 2005, but split in September. At the time, Bush had petitioned to annul the five-month marriage on the grounds of "fraud," which is legally difficult to prove in California. With such a brief marriage, there’s no telling what fraud could mean, although popular theories are infidelity or closeted homosexuality. One of Bush’s friends hinted at the former: "Sophia went into the marriage believing in the sanctity of marriage, and Chad simply did not share that vision." Murray is currently engaged to "One Tree Hill" extra Kenzie Dalton, who was only 17 when she started dating the actor. Dalton, who appears as a Ravens cheerleader on the show, was the runner-up in the Miss North Carolina Teen USA pageant in 2005.

I so admire how both of them acted like nothing happened on the show! If you didn’t know their real life history, you would never be able to tell by watching One Tree Hill! Hopefully Sophia Bush will be able to find mister right soon!

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are now officially single again. Sheen and Richards’ divorce was finalized on Thursday after a lengthy separation. A source told Access Hollywood that Denise will receive close to $200 million in the separation and plans to use part of the money to buy a new house. The source also said that a marrige to rocker Richie Sambora may not be far off. Richards and Sambora (Heather Locklear’s ex) have been dating since April. Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March 2005 after three years of marriage. The couple seemed to have reconciled after the birth of their second daughter, Lola, last year, but in January, they filed legal papers asking a private arbitrator to handle their divorce. Sheen was ordered to stay at least 300 feet from his estranged wife and their daughters, 2-year-old Sam and 11-month-old Lola, except during supervised visits. Richards alleged in court papers that Sheen pushed her, shoved her, and threatened her and her parents. The papers also include transcriptions of phone messages Richards said Sheen left in April 2005. Sheen, 40, denied the allegations.
