Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is furious about reports Heather Mills will appear in the TV show and plans to confront creator Marc Cherry. Cherry recently revealed he’d love to audition the estranged wife of Paul McCartney for a spot in the ABC series, saying, "If Heather Mills can act I’d be interested. It would be fascinating." But regular Longoria was livid when asked if Mills would appear in the next season, saying, "Oh, God no. Not at all. That’s crazy, it would be completely crazy. "If she did have a part I would be offended."

Eva Longoria was in London at the opening for the Harrod’s sale and developed puppy love at the pet department! Seriously how cute is that? I think that is the best I have seen her look in a long time. Maybe she adopt a dog when she gets back to LA?

They’re always in the shadow of their female costars, but the men of Desperate Housewives may finally be taking center stage. Executive producer Marc Cherry is considering a male narrator for a very special episode which would focus mostly on the men of Wisteria Lane. "The whole show would be told from a male point of view," Cherry tells TV Guide. The narrator will be DH’s favorite dead husband, Rex Van De Kamp. "I was sitting in a makeup chair on the set of my new show, [ABC’s mid-season series] Traveler, and my cell phone rang," says Steven Culp, who played Rex. "It was Marc. He told me he wanted me to be the narrator. I said fabulous. They could change their minds, but I hope not." Should Culp need any pointers, regular narrator Brenda Strong is available. "I’m waiting for the phone call from Steven saying, ‘Oh, my god, is that what you do? It’s a lot harder than I thought,’" Strong told TVGuide.com the other day. "I, for one, am going to be really curious to see it."

The Desperate Housewives sure have lame birthday parties |

Happy Birthday, Felicity Huffman! The Desperate Housewives star celebrated her 44th annum on Saturday night with a party for about 60 people at costar Eva Longoria’s L.A. home, a source tells me. The highlight of the evening, I hear, was a game of charades. Guests included pregnant Marcia Cross, Dirty Dancing veteran Jennifer Grey and her actor husband, Clark Gregg, of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ hit sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine. Funny enough, Longoria and fiancé Tony Parker didn’t stay at the bash too long. After making a brief appearance, they checked into a hotel for a good night’s sleep, because, my source reports, Parker had to be up early the next morning for B-ball practice
