|  How's this for a double feature? Marcia Cross became a mom on Tuesday, welcoming fraternal twin daughters, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. The girls, Eden and Savannah, who were born at a Los Angeles hospital, are the first children for the Desperate Housewives actress, 44, and her stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney, 49, who married in June 2006. "Mother and babies are all doing well," says Cross's rep, Heidi Slan. Cross had been on bed rest since January, but producers of her ABC hit brought production to her home for some scenes.

At least the names are sort of normal! I wonder when she will be back on Desperate Housewives.

Who do you think looks the best? I think Felicity Huffman looks absolutely amazing, I almost didn’t recgonize her! I like Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher’s dresses, but I do not like the lower half of Nicolette Sheridan’s.

| Desperate Housewives star James Denton is secretly celebrating pregnant co-star Marcia Cross’ bed-rest lockdown – because he gets a bigger role. Cross, who plays Bree Van De Camp on the hit show, is expecting twins and was put on bed rest last week by her doctors and told she couldn’t leave her house. After frantically turning the actress’ real-life home into a replica of her house on the show, in an effort to complete her scenes for the current series, "Housewives" creator Marc Cherry had to quickly revise story lines. And that was a big boost for Denton’s character Mike, who will be getting out of jail sooner than expected. He explains, "Because we’re losing Marcia mid-season, that mystery has to wrap up pretty quickly because we need her. So, it’s kind of fun, because it got me out of jail quicker!"
