Finally the night we have been waiting for all season on Desperate Housewives, a tiny plane is going to crash down on Wisteria Lane tonight on ABC at 9p!!! Kathryn Joosten aka Mrs. McCluskey told me at the premiere of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas at Canaan that two people will die, but she couldn’t tell me who. All we know is an original cast member who is also a fan favorite will die and the other is someone who has been with the show for a while. Other than that we will probably have to wait until January to find out who didn’t survive the crash because it would be too nice of them to tell us tonight. You know the crash will prob happen in the last block of the show. I still can’t believe all that hype for a small plane, I feel so jipped over that.
So who do you think will bite the dust tonight? I have my speculations, but with Desperate Housewives you never know…
So for months ABC has been teasing us that a plane was going to crash down on to Wisteria Lane and yesterday we got out first glimpse of the crash that is rumored to kill 5 characters on Desperate Housewives during Sunday’s episode. After seeing that little tiny plane, I am completely disappointed with ABC and Marc Cherry for telling us something big is going to happen and that is all we are getting. At one point there were rumors it was going to be an Oceanic Airlines plane and all we are getting is a puddle hopper. C’mon if you are going to have a plane crash, make it a freaking plane. I guess now we know why it is airing outside of November sweeps because if it were big were big they wouldn’t being airing it in December.
Now when it comes to who is going to die, I think they set the fan favorite up to be a jerk yesterday so we wouldn’t be so upset that he perishes. I also think that ABC and DH will be evil enough to have the crash come at the end of the show and we will have to wait until January to find out who died. If they do that, that is messed up because the show has been such crap this season that they should respect us loyal viewers and not leave us with a cliffhanger like that.
BTW am I the only who feels jipped that it is only a small plane that is causing so much havoc on the show?
A plane is going to crash into Wisteria Lane on the December 6th and the population is going to drop by 3. Marc Cherry tells TV Guide Magazine that one minor, one central and one big character who has been with the show since the first season will perish from the plane crash. Cherry said the fan favorite actor who dies handled it well, “The fans are going to be sad over this one, but it was a good time to end this character’s story line.†The producer praises his fired actor for taking the news “with a lot of class. This person stood up at our table read and told everyone what a joy it was to be a part of the show,†he says.
I have no idea who is going to die, but at least I am feeling better that it doesn’t look the deaths are going to be Mike and Susan’s son and Gaby and Carlos’ youngest daughter. When I saw they were casting three actors for MJ, Celia and Patrick) to age throughout the years, I thought the DH was going to kill off the kid actors and I thought that was really sick. The third casting is one of Lynette’s unborn twins, who Ted Casablanca says will die. So who do you think is going to get smushed? Or do you not care and wish that the plane killed everyone in its path and it would be the end of Desperate Housewives?

Hmmm, I wonder what that is all about? ONTD thinks it could be that they are killed in the crash which could be a good guess, but seriously killing kids is bad TV. They also think that Patrick could be one of Lynette’s unborn twins, so does that mean she miscarries? Or could it be that the fan favorite that dies shows what life would’ve been like had they not died? Or could it be that Susan, Gaby and Lynette picture how their kids will grow up, but why would Gaby only picture one of her daughters? I am stumped and curious. What do you think the writers of Desperate Housewives have up their sleeves?
