Melissa Benoist hard at work on Supergirl
February 29th, 2016 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

While Supergirl might not need to sleep, Kara, I mean Melissa Benoist does. Her Executive Producer Ali Adler captured her doing just that. Proving that the Glee star is just as cute with her laser beaming eyes are closed as when they are open. That and Supergirl might be a superhero, but Benoist is a super star!

Stephen Amell got old looking
February 25th, 2016 under DC Comics, Stephen Amell. [ Comments: none ]

I will admit it, I haven’t watch Arrow in a while. Because of that I didn’t realize how much Stephen Amell has aged recently until I saw this photo. He got so old looking, it looks like he aged out of The CW.
So does he need to moisturize in a flash? Nope, it is all makeup. Why? You will just have to tune into DC’s Legends of Tomorrow tonight at 8p on The CW to find out.

In a Flash, Grant Gustin is going to guest star on Supergirl!
February 3rd, 2016 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

On March 28th, DC Comics is doing something that is very rarely done on television. Grant Gustin from The CW’s The Flash is going to play his character on CBS‘s Supergirl. While crossover episodes are not that uncommon, it is very rare that it has been done with shows on two different networks. According to some quick research, the only time I can see that this has been done is when two of David E Kelly’s shows, Ally McBeal and The Practice, did a crossover.
Now back to our super friends, The Flash and Supergirl’s Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg said, “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally, thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”
Now when are they going to get the Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Gotham involved into mix? Actually Legends of Tomorrow and Gotham could work brilliantly together since the first show time travels and the latter one is set in the past. DC Comics make this happen.

Stephen Amell and John Barrowman are the music of tonight!
January 27th, 2016 under DC Comics, John Barrowman, Stephen Amell, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

We know that a new episode of Arrow airing tonight on The CW at 8p is music to the ears, so that means that the show’s stars Stephen Amell and John Barrowmem are the music of the night. Thus it makes sense that when they were trapped in NJ this weekend due to the snow storm at the Heroes & Villains Fan Festival they would sing the most famous song from The Phantom of the Opera. Right?
Executive Producer Greg Berlanti has dabbled with musical numbers on Eli Stone; and I think after this performance, he needs to try it out again on Arrow. Who’s with me?

BTWF roles: Mehcad Brooks on One on One

(starts at 5:20 in)

Before Mehcad Brooks helped Supergirl fight evil, he did it himself on One on One. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 2003 episode.
