LATEST: A visibly upset DAVID HASSELHOFF got into a heated confrontation with a CNN reporter on Thursday (22JUNE06) after she questioned him about domestic abuse allegations made by his ex-wife. The former BAYWATCH star was appearing on CNN’s AMERICAN MORNING to promote his new movie CLICK with ADAM SANDLER, when the interview took a personal turn. When reporter SOLEDAD O BRIEN brought up the abuse allegations by estranged wife PAMELA BACH, Hasselhoff shot back, "That’s not what I’m here to talk about. "The only person who broke my wife’s nose was a plastic surgeon, darling." Hasselhoff appeared upset and had yet another contentious exchange with O’Brien when she brought up his children, according to website TMZ.com. He fired back, "You conned me into this, because you said you weren’t going to talk about this." O’Brien replied, "No. Oh gosh, I never agree on conditions before I do any interview." Bach filed a declaration earlier this year (06), claiming that in December (05), Hasselhoff "grabbed me and pushed me hard into a car", adding, "In the past, he has also broken my nose." In a declaration filed on 20 June (06) in a Los Angeles Superior Court, Hasselhoff responded saying, "I categorically deny each and every allegation."

WTF, Hasselhoff is so drinking again? |

DAVID HASSELHOFF is proud of being caught on camera crying during the final episode of AMERICAN IDOL – he just wishes US President GEORGE W BUSH could follow his example and show some emotion too. The former BAYWATCH star was in the audience watching finalists KATHERINE MCPHEE and TAYLOR HICKS face-off for the title and was overcome with emotion when the winner was announced. He refuses to feel embarrassed by his sentimental display – and insists if politicians could show some love and warmth like him, the world would be a better place. Hasselhoff hits back saying, "Is it wrong for a grown man to cry? Maybe if we had more emotion in the White House we wouldn’t be in this mess we’re in. "What moved me was the person sitting next to me is my best friend, he has brain cancer. It was his birthday and this was his present. "When Taylor Hicks won I said, ‘Isn’t that cool? A guy gets the American Dream.’ Then I look over at my best friend who says, ‘Isn’t it great to be alive?’ "I find it kind of strange that you have to explain that in this world. What’s wrong with that? What’s wrong with having emotion?"

BAYWATCH creator DAVID HASSELHOFF has been forced to scrap plans to play CAPTAIN HOOK in a London Christmas (06) pantomime – because he’s too busy. The newly-single star was all set to team up with British comic BOBBY DAVRO in a quirky version of PETER PAN at the New Wimbledon Theatre, but he’s had to pull out of the production. According to Whatsonstage.com, the show’s producers, First Family Entertainment, are "in negotiations to secure a major star to take on the role." Hasselhoff will spend the summer (06) judging SIMON COWELL’s new US TV talent show AMERICA’S GOT TALENT

Seriosuly, who believes he is too busy? I think he just can’t handle being live on stage.
