The mayor of Los Angeles has made it mandatory for us to wear masks when we actually venture outside. However, there are no masks to be found. That means we have to come up with creative ways to cover our faces.
While I use an eye mask, Darren Hayes came up with something even better. He used something that covers his small head to cover his big one. His dusty blue boxers really bring out his eyes. It could be because that is all we see.
Men, if you are going to try the Savage Garden singer’s type of mask, then make sure they are clean. You don’t want to be smelling your butt the whole time you are outside.
You would think that anyone who can hear would love to hear Darren Hayes serenade them. However, there is someone who is not truly, madly, deeply in love with his vocals. That person is actually his dog Huxley.
When the Savage Garden singer was belting out the Four Tops’ I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch), the puppy could not stop howling. You could say Hayes’ singing will crash and burn in his household. Maybe if he wants Huxley to like his free concert, Hayes should sing The Animal Song. It does have animal in the title.
BTW I wonder if the first song he sang to his best friend, when they met, was I Knew I Loved You! To me, the best love is the love of a pet, and you know how much you love them before you meet them.
Did you know you that you can do 69 standing up? Well, you can and Darren Hayes demonstrated it with his friend Anthony, on his podcast The He Said He Said Show.
So is this their affirmation that you can do it? Let’s just say they crash and burn, as in Anthony crashed into the wall and suffered a burn on his hip from the Savage Garden singer lifting him up.
So I truly, madly, deeply warn you to keep 69 in bed! It’s a lot safer, and sadly a lot less funny. But then again, it is a lot more fun when done right! If you do it right, you will be singing the animal song!
Darren Hayes says that Michael Jackson gave him the inspiration to come out according to Digital Spy.
"I owe my coming out to Michael Jackson, basically. He came from a similar upbringing and family to mine.
"He was a sensitive young thing with a stern and violent father who forced himself down a creative avenue as a means of escape. I connected to that gorgeous, wounded creature that he was."
Ummm, quick question when did Michael Jackson come out? And I never heard anyone describe Michael Jackson as a "gorgeous, wounded creature"….creature yes, but gorgeous and wounded no.
Darren Hayes (best known as the singer from Savage Garden) was arrested in London over an alleged verbal racist attack at a Thai restaurant according to News.com.au.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 35-year-old man was arrested by Westminster police on suspicion of racially abusing a member of staff.
"He was arrested after voluntarily attending a Central London police station by appointment. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries, until the 21st of September.”
Recent Allegation A Statement from Darren's solicitor
"Darren is unable to comment to any extent as the incident is presently under investigation by the police, with whom he has cooperated fully. However he is deeply upset at the allegation which he strenuously denies and anyone who knows Darren will recognise that the particular nature of the allegation is totally abhorrent to him and contrary to everything for which he has stood"
I just don't understand how someone is arrested for a verbal not physical racist attack. Especially the man that dreamed up I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You. I hope he is cleared from this stupid charge.
