Last week, KISS announced that they had to reschedule some of the dates on their final tour because Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID-19, even though he is fully vaccinated. Today, they revealed that the fully vaccinated Gene Simmons also has it.
“KISS will postpone their next four tour dates. While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he has recovered from COVID, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms,” they said in a statement. “The band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next 10 days and doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates once announced. More information will be emailed to ticketholders directly.”
Hopefully, none of the other members will test positive, and they can resume their tour as planned. That and both men recover quickly with no long-term side effects. This way, they can Rock and Roll All Nite again for the rest of their final shows.

KISS postpone at least one date because Paul Stanley has COVID-19 |

While several musicians like BTS and Garth Brooks are canceling concerts because they don’t want their fans to get COVID-19, KISS postponed a date on their final tour because Paul Stanley tested positive for it.
“Tonight’s [August 26th] KISS show at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA is unfortunately postponed due to Paul Stanley testing positive for COVID,” a statement reads. “Everyone on the entire tour, both band and crew, are fully vaccinated. The band and their crew have operated in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible at each show and in between shows. The tour also has a COVID safety protocol officer on staff full-time that is ensuring everyone is closely following all CDC guidelines.”
No word if any other shows will be postponed. But their next gig is slated for tomorrow in Raliegh, N.C.
Get well soon, Paul Stanley. And everyone who isn’t vaccinated but can get the shot, do it now! It is better than getting coronavirus.

Garth Brooks cancels his next five dates over the Delta variant |

Just when concerts started back up again, it looks like they are being shut down because of COVID-19’s Delta variant.
The first musician to cancel their shows as a precaution and safety for their fans is Garth Brooks. He made the announcement on his website today.
Since restarting the tour in July, The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour has entertained over 300,000 fans across the first 5 cities. Now, with a new wave of the Covid-19 virus spreading across the nation, the tour has arrived at the very difficult decision of cancelling and refunding approximately 350,000 tickets in the tour’s next 5 cities.
For ticket holders, no action is required to obtain a refund; Ticketmaster will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase.
“In July, I sincerely thought the pandemic was falling behind us. Now, watching this new wave, I realize we are still in the fight and I must do my part. I have asked the wonderful cities of Cincinnati and Charlotte to wait too long and I don’t want to now do that same thing to the great folks in Boston and Baltimore. As far as Nashville, we are looking for a make up date from the July rain out and though this is not COVID related, to make them wait makes me sad, as well. So, it is with a heavy heart we announce the decision to cancel all 5 shows but with a hopeful heart, we will reschedule and start over when this wave seems to be behind us,” said Garth Brooks.
“The joy I have seen in everyone’s faces as live music returns has been more than worth our constant diligence to maintain safety protocols not only for the fans, but for our band, the crew and the hard working staff in these stadiums. Their dedication to safety for the people who fill those seats has been a miracle to watch and a blessing to receive. I am truly grateful.”
A spokesperson for the tour said the team will continue to monitor the virus’ impact and watch how schools, sports, and other entertainment entities are handling this stage of the pandemic. “I’m sincerely hoping we are back on tour before the year’s end,” said Brooks. “With that said, the most important thing to me is fulfilling my end of the Stadium Tour by making sure every show is doable before putting tickets on sale (that is why we pulled the Seattle on sale) and making sure the environment these people are trading their time and money to put themselves into is not only the best experience ever, but also the safest one we can provide.”
I don’t think the news is surprising. I have panic attacks every time I see photos from concerts, and no one is wearing masks and they are packed in like sardines.
You can say that only people who are vaccinated are admitted, but that doesn’t mean they do not have a breakthrough case. What if they give it to someone next to them who has a child under 12 at home. That child goes to school and gives it to a classmate who lives with a relative who can’t get the vaccine for whatever reason and dies.
This is why we keep saying get the vaccine and wear a mask. It is not only about protecting yourself; it is about protecting strangers from getting it.
And don’t come at me about freedoms and religion. Wearing a mask is an extra piece of clothing you are required to wear. You don’t like it, then let your dick and tits hang out. Oh, but that is not the freedom you were talking about. Actually, keep your micropenises and saggy boobs hidden. I don’t want to see them, and I don’t want to see your yellow teeth and ugly noses. Cover up; it is not about you. It is about your neighbors too. And doesn’t the Bible say, “Love thy neighbor?” It doesn’t sound like you are when you are being a selfish asshole. That goes against everything that religion teaches. Don’t believe me? Reread the Bible. As someone who majored in religion, I can tell you, with my degree, y’all are hypocrites.
So if you can get the vaccine, get it. Otherwise, you won’t be one of Brooks’ friends in low places!
OK! I feel better now.

Dee Snider told COVID-19 he’s not gonna take it |

Dee Snider has been fully vaccinated since Tax Day, but that didn’t stop him from getting COVID-19.
“FOR ALL WHO READ I GOT COVID…I’m fully vaccinated so my symptoms were minor. Advil and Sudafed totally managed them. Didn’t miss a beat business wise (did 10 interviews on first day I got it). All symptoms gone in three days. I feel totally fine now,” he wrote. “GET THE DAMN VACCINATION!”
He might have sung We’re Not Gonna Take It in the ’80s with Twisted Sister, but today he wants you to take it. The vaccine that is. So take it if you wanna Rock.

If you have been anxiously awaiting any news about Bridgerton’s second season, you are not going to like this news. That is because the period drama has been shut down for a second time this month due to VD. Not as in a venereal disease, but as COVID-19’s variant delta.
The show’s production was halted earlier this month because someone tested positive, according to Variety. Then on Friday, when they were finally able to go back in production in London, someone else tested positive. So once again, filming was stopped for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully, this will be the last time because we need our softcore porn fix since Skinemax went away.
