The Big Bang Theory on Halloween
October 29th, 2007 under Chuck Lorre, Halloween. [ Comments: none ]

The Big Bang Theory has its first Halloween episode on CBS tonight at 8:30p. I can’t wait to see how this episode turns out because the first promo had them all dressing as the same nerd G-d from some comic book. And am I the only one who also thought he was Peter Pan?

Two and a Half Men turns 100 tonight!!!
October 15th, 2007 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 1 ]

Hard to believe, but tonight is Two and a Half Men’s 100th episode! That means that Charlie Harper will have his 100th lay since the show started, Alan will have sent 100 alimony checks to his wives, Jake’s IQ is not even close to 100, Berta has given the boys 100 hilarious zingers and the boys have avoided their mother 100 times! I saw this show as a preview before it started when I was Vegas on vacation and I have been hooked ever since! Besides all the laughs I get from the show itself, I also take pleasure in figuring out when they are going to use the title of each episode in each show and reading the Vanity Cards written by Chuck Lorre at the end of each episode. Here is hoping to 100 more and Chuck Lorre hopefully getting the Emmy he richly deserves!
So tune into Two and a Half Men tonight at 9p!!!
Maybe I will finally go see the show tape live before it turns 200!!!

The Big Bang Theory explodes on to TV tonight on CBS at 8:30p!
September 24th, 2007 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 4 ]

Chuck Lorre's newest baby The Big Bang Theory is the perfect meat between the How I Met Your Mother and Two and a Half Men sandwich.
Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works.  But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women.  All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door.  Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali.  However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities… including love.
I will admit when I saw the pilot a few months ago, I was not that impressed with the show. So I decided to put it in and test it out again and boy I am glad that I did! Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is going to be the break out star of the season. To say he takes everything literal would be putting it mildly, his character is such a nerd-squared that he becomes adorable by the opening credits and the first scene takes place in a sperm lab! I can't wait to see what else happens in the first of many seasons of this show especially since Johnny Galecki's ex-TV wife Sara Gilbert will be joining the cast as his love interest.
So tune into The Big Bang Theory on CBS at 8:30p!

The good and bad casting for Two and a Half Men
September 5th, 2007 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 1 ]

TV Guide is reporting that Two and a Half Men has cast two guest stars for the upcoming season that includes the show's 100th episode! The good news Ming-Na is going to guest for a few episodes trying to land Charlie Harper. But the bad news is for his brother Alan played by Jon Cryer aka Duckie, his love interest will be Janeane Garafolo. Why is she so popular all of a sudden on the small screen because I liked not hearing or seeing for a long time!
I just have to say I am disappointed with Chuck Lorre on the second casting.
