Ashton Kutcher’s stand on Two and a Half Men is a little blurry!
September 1st, 2011 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

Lee Aronsohn, the co-creator of Two and a Half Men Tweeted the above picture from the set and asked, “Wednesday runthru w @aplusk. Guess what the scene’s about.” It is all too blurry for me to figure it out, so what do you think it is about?
Who else is getting so excited to see what 2.5 2.0 is all about when it comes back to CBS September 19th at 9p?

CBS avoids Charlie Sheen/Harper in Two and a Half Men season premiere description
August 18th, 2011 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

CBS posted the descriptions from the season premieres of their shows and one of them is Two and a Half Men. Here is what they said about their #1 comedy.

ASHTON KUTCHER JOINS THE CAST ON THE NINTH SEASON PREMIERE OF “TWO AND A HALF MEN,” MONDAY, SEPT. 19

“Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt” – Ashton Kutcher joins the cast as Walden Schmidt, an internet billionaire with a broken heart, on the ninth season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MEN, Monday, Sept. 20 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

It looks they want to avoid mentioning Charlie Sheen/Harper at all costs. Can’t say I blame them, but I was hoping they would give us a little more spoiler then what was said at the CBS TCA Summer Press Tour Day two weeks ago.
BTW looking at the picture that show creator Lee Aronson Tweeted from the set today, they didn’t make Ashton Kutcher get a haircut or shave his scraggly beard. That really bums me out because in that picture he looks great from the neck down, but a complete mess from the neck up. Hopefully as the season goes on, he will clean up his act.

The cast of Two and a Half Men take a bow
August 6th, 2011 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday Ashton Kutcher taped his first show of Two and a Half Men with the whole cast minus Charlie Sheen in front of a studio audience and when the show ended he took a bow with his new castmates. Even though it is only week one, it looks like the chemistry is already there for all of them.
After the billionaire with a broken heart took a bow, Lee Aronsohn the co-creator of the show Tweeted, “First episode is in the can! Look forward to watching it tomorrow on TMZ.” He was right because here are the details that TMZ of Charlie Harper’s demise got from some of the audience that was there.

Ashton Kutcher is an Internet billionaire with a broken heart on 2.5 Men!
August 3rd, 2011 under Ashton Kutcher, Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

Today is the CBS Summer Press Day at the TCAs and CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler teased us what about what Ashton Kutcher’s character will be on Two and a Half Men when it comes back on September 19th at 9p. Because she wants to keep as much as she can for the actual premiere from a marketing stand point of view she didn’t say much. What she did say is that, “I will tell you his name, and I will tell you what he does and a little bit about his character. His name is Walden Schmidt…And he is an Internet billionaire with a broken heart, and it will be a two parter over two weeks.” She would not answer if he was related to Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones’ character, but she added “he is a unique character.” What that means, we will have to wait to see and if any young actor can play a “unique character” it is the That ’70s Show star.
\With every little nugget that CBS gives us about the changes for Two and a Half Men, I get more and more excited for the premiere.

Ashton Kutcher suits up as a Two and a Half Men men men men, manly men men men!
July 28th, 2011 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

When we saw the first promo picture of Ashton Kutcher with his Two and a Half Men co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones, the three men men men men, manly men men men were all in the birthday suits. Now in the second one they are all in monkey suits. An attire that Charlie Sheen wore at the beginning of every episode he was in. So it looks like they are going to keep the theme song as is, and have the Half Man move into his TV uncle’s place and Kelso will take over the center spot. I can’t wait to hear and see the changes to the old theme song, oh and the show too.
BTW if you are not familiar with 2.5 Men theme song, here it is:
