They don’t make movies like Velvet Vampire anymore!
April 7th, 2016 under Cheezy Flicks. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1971, they made a little cult movie called Velvet Vampire and there’s no way they could make one like it today. Not only because it was full of nudity and sex, it also had tons of bad acting in it. On top of all of that, it’s storyline is so ridiculous that it was awesome.
Nowadays, even Vampire movies want to be taken seriously and that just sucks all of the blood out of them. Kind of like a Vampire.
If this is the type of movie you have been craving, then for just $2, yes two dollars, it can be yours at Cheezy Flicks. Heck at that price, how can you not buy it?

How have I not seen When Men Carried Clubs & Women Played Ding-Dong?
October 21st, 2015 under Cheezy Flicks. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1971, a movie traveled all the way from 50,000 BC and for some reason I never heard of When Men Carried Clubs & Women Played Ding-Dong until today. The Italian movie, that stars Antonio Sabato, is finding a new life thanks to Cheezy Flicks. For just a mere $5, you can own this movie to watch whenever you want.
After watching the trailer, I foresee a lot of people (boys under 16) who will want to watch it over and over again. Especially since Playboy is no longer doing full nudes. Plus this movie takes place, when Hugh Hefner was just a kid so it is a fair trade.
Back to the movie, I wish they made films like this today, but they no longer have the balls to do it.

They don’t make movies like this anymore!
September 23rd, 2015 under Cheezy Flicks. [ Comments: none ]

Cheezy Flicks is re-releasing another classically cheesy movie and this one is Diamond Connection. To say the thriller is a diamond in the rough would be an understatement. Too bad they don’t make movies as brilliant as this anymore, which is a shame because we need it.
Diamond Connection is cheaper than cubic zirconia, for just $6 you can own this movie and play as many twisted drinking games whenever you want with all of your friends. What more do you need?

Victor Frankenstein is everything wrong with modern tellings of classics
August 18th, 2015 under Cheezy Flicks, Harry Potter. [ Comments: 8 ]

The first trailer is out for Victor Frankenstein starring James McAvoy and Danielle Radcliffe and it looks awful. It is another take on the classic and modernized to like sh!t. When a tale is a scary enough on its own, it doesn’t need to be CGIed to max to tell it. This movie looks like it is more about the visuals than the legendary story. It’s like hey were making a movie that will work great in 3D, get two of the biggest stars to act in it and it will be a hit. I for one say, “no,” and I hope you join me by boycotting this movie on November 25th.
We need to stop the overuse of CGI and bring it back to the good old days of scary creatures that made you lose sleep for several nights. Not a movie that makes you forget how scary it was by the time you get to your car. Enough is enough.
I am not saying that CGI is bad, I am just saying that the overuse of is horrendous.
They need to start making movies like they did when they made The Cat and The Canary. The classic thriller is available from Cheezy Flicks for a mere $4. That is a lot cheaper than going to see Victor Frankenstein in theaters, a whole lot cheaper.

Is Last Man(s) On Earth the greatest movie of the year?
June 13th, 2015 under Cheezy Flicks. [ Comments: none ]

Every year there is one is movie that is heads above the rest this year that movie is
Last Man(s) On Earth. It is not your ordinary Zombie flick. It is not your usual cast. There is nothing extraordinary about the film, except the film itself. Not sold yet? Then watch the trailer for this movie that will some day be on AFI’s list of Best Movies ever made and tell me you don’t want to order it from Cheezy Flicks before the trailer has ended? And it only costs $8. That’s cheaper than going to movie theater buy yourself. I’m ordering my copy right now. If you do the same, let me know and we can live Tweet about it together.
